Mailed my $50 rebate off on 10/3/05, received the rebate on 1/19/06. Will be mailing another off before it ends in June, just waiting to get another six.

Yes, of course. I also remembered to put a stamp on the envelope too.

Anyone know if the "Tales from the Crypt" sets are eligible?

They aren't listed on the rebate form I have (that came with Veronica Mars) but I believe they're WB releases.

I was thinking of sending for another one too, but since I bought all of my sets with credit cards my name appears on every receipt along with the last 4 digits of my card number. Is this not a problem, or do they just not look that closely? I ask because I tried this with another deal (non-DVD related), was very careful and was turned down on the basis of having already gotten a rebate. I used a different address (different city even), name, and everything.

So I just finished talking with customer service, who read me the entire list of eligible dvds. There were 3 that weren't on the list I got from my Gilligan's Island set, and two of them were Mission Hill and Veronica Mars. I didn't catch the third one, but it begins in the first half of the alphabet.

As it turns out, the three I mentioned are in the newer rebate for my third season of Gilligan's Island - the third one was the Ben Stiller show. These are probably already on the downloadable rebate.

Has anyone had luck with the printed out form from DDD? I have 5 titles I've bought and none of them had the rebate form in the packaging.

I used a printed one from amazon.com (I think it was) and had no problems getting my rebate back.

Since there are 2 threads about this (the other one is http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=404339) and I'm not sure which is more active, I'll also post here:

Has anyone had problems submitting receipts from Costco or Sam's Club where the item description just says "DVD" or "Assorted DVD" or "Warner TV"?

I assume/hope that each set (I haven't opened mine yet) has a D tab inside and that Warner will consider that sufficient without being able to tell the specific shows/seasons from the receipt.

Nowhere on the original offer/rebate form does it say these have to be bought on the same receipt or mailed within a certain number of days of your purchase. So, you could buy 3 DVDs on 1/1/2005 and buy 3 more DVDs on 6/1/2006, send them in together before the deadline, and the rebate should be honored?

I'm just trying to make sure because the extra $10 off per set on a $17.88 set makes all the difference to me. I bought 2 sets last year, and I held off sending in the rebate until I bought 4 more sets which I did today, so my first purchases are almost a year old.

I bought 3 seasons of Kung Fu at Sams on 2 different receipts. I'm assuming they'll have no problem with the receipt saying "DVD". I checked each set and they all have tabs (season 3 had the tabs inside the slipcase).

I sent in all six from different places at different times and got the rebate with no problems.

I just got my $50 rebate, and most of the items I'd gotten were from either Sam's Club or Costco. Not all of the items had "D" tabs - like my Night Court and Wayans Bros sets (which were just in regular DVD cases - not cardboard ones) had only "A" and "B" tags. I just handed in a little note with them saying that they didn't have "D tabs" so here's the A or B-tab. And it all processed fine. And like you said, most of the receipts said DVD $13.88 - all I did was circle that, and it wasn't a problem.

Season 6 of The West Wing doesn't have any proof of purchase tabs.. at least my copy doesn't. WB says I must cut the UPC off the box... ugh! Did anyone get season 6 with tabs? Thanks!

I just called to check on my rebate that I sent in back in February and they said it was sent out on May 30th.

Got my rebate check yesterday for $50. I originally sent it in a long, long time ago. They sent it back because of an Overstock.com invoice that didn't include the price. I printed out another one from my order history and resubmitted it. It has been so long since then that I thought they weren't going to send me the check.

Now I'm $50 richer! ..and my birthday is 6/6 too! Now to find something good to spend it on!

Before you cut the box, check the inner flaps of the outer box and you might find a strip of proof of purchase tabs. Although I don't have WW 6, some Warner sets have the tabs hidden there.

I trust it's not too late to participate in this, correct? I have until June 30th, no? I seriously have to find which box set I have that has the form.

Yes, you have until 6/30/06. (Technically, receipts must be dated by 6/30, and requests received by 7/14.)

Does anyone know if bestbuy will give a new reciept if I lost the original? I'm pretty sure CC does. I lost my receipt from way back when bestbuy had all the WB sets in the promotion for around $16.99.

Does anyone know if they'll accept photocopies of the receipts?
They don't state "original", or "copies not accepted" like they do
next to requirements A & B.

Whoops, should have flipped it over and read the fine print.
"Copy of sales receipt will be accepted."
