I'll disagree slightly. Though Hypercube was nowhere near as good as Cube, it does offer some interesting "traps" and plot twists. As I recall, the main defects were characters too much like the original and a less effective setting. I'm relieved to hear the positive comments about Cube0. It's been sitting on my shelf since the last sale because I was afraid it might be a step down from the second installment.
