Actually, we're seeing a lot less "backordered" titles compared with the previous four big sales.

You're not "taking chances" - just waiting a little longer to pay for those and receive them. Never once, in the previous sales, did I fail to get an item that showed up as "backordered".

Ditto on the low funds for these sales. The one in June was the week i moved so i had ultra low funds for movies, and the one last year was when i was in thrift mode for my wedding. This sale, saving to go on vacation in DEC. so only able to pick up a desperately needed bookshelf and one average order for tomorrow. But man was i tempted to put a hole in my Credit card, just filling up the shopping cart and widdling it back down, then filling it back up, and finally settling on one order. DAMN self control. If i didn't have self control my order would be around $500 which is small in comparison to some.

Thanks marty888, the only dvd in my order probably have problem is Alice in Wonderland (SE, Disney). Ducktale and Chip'nDale are new, so i'm not too worried about being backordered.

Dunno if this was posted already, and I'm not going to bother to check, but DDD apparently may have the price of Scrubs S2 at $28. Figuring in free shipping, the cost would be about $22.50.

I also thought it (EQUILIBRIUM) was a good movie, But I hated Donnie Crappo which a lot of people here rave about.

I called today about my order of ADV titles not showing up, and to my surprise, after him checking with someone, the CSR I talked to placed a new order for me. He said that the system says they don't carry Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 Essential Anime Collection vol 3 anymore, which is weird, so I couldn't get that one, but I did get vol 2 and Azumanga Daioh Class Album, so it's much better than nothing. Guess I know what I'm using my $5 Overstock coupon on now.

Same here. Ordered late night Thursday/early morning Friday but no shipping information yet.


Somebody earlier mentioned "New Price" probably means DDD recently changed the price of an item in their system.
