I just called them up to request a refund.

They told me that they couldn't since it was a one day sale and that if I wanted the lower price, I would have to ship back the old ones and reorder the same titles at the lower price.

I said, that doesn't make any operational sense at all, but they said that's what they were told to do.

Did they mean the $5.99 prices will only last for today, and not through the end of the Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale (10/31)? I emailed them earlier today about a credit, and was hoping to hear back from them before I placed another order.

I think it might be worth reordering my initial 12 (along with a slew of new ones that are worth $4) and returning the original order. $24 saved amounts to 6 free DVDs.

For me, I bought 12 DVDs, paid for 8 of them.
8 * 3 = $24 difference

Plus, I ordered these on 10/21, so 3 days before this one days sale. At the time that the sale started, only 4 of the 12 dvds shipped out.
