Anyone know if Shaolin Soccer is Widescreen? The Website says it's Full Frame. Did that even come out in FF? I'm VERY interested in buying the movie, but not in a pan-and-scan

The Mirimax web site redirected to this page, which has the same UPC code as the DDD page. It lists "1.85:1 Aspect Ratio", so I think that's an error on DDD's part. At least I hope so - I'm ordering that disc also.

Shaolin Soccer is widescreen, I have the disc and Miramax only released one version.

Too much of a hassle - and some people already opened their dvds, I'm sure. All they have to do is adjust it in their computer - why would any business want to increase their work load with returned dvds and the same orders?

I also was denied a refund, with the same e-mail response as mentioned.

And they've already been opened. I opened one up quick since the cover art was inserted poorly into the case and was a little crunched up, so I put it between some books for the night. Helped a little, but you can still tell.. I was hoping for a refund to at least make up for that, as it seems a hassle to return it just for that.

I called and also was denied. Felt that the customer service rep. was very rude about it too. I bought 10 dvds last time, so that would entitle me to 29.80 + tax. All of mine are unopened, but if the 5.99 part of the sale is going away, I cant chance reordering. Wayyyy too much hassle.

By the way, they tried to tell me it was a one-day sale. I firmly said, "No, that isnt true. It was good two days ago, and I am looking at the site and it is good right now." the CSR was like, "oh."

By the way, I accidentally placed a double order (put items in cart, ordered, did not get a confirm, looked at order status and nothing was there, looked at cart and items were all still there, so went through the process again, then had both orders appear). They said they couldn't stop the order and they refused to give me a shipping label. This is bullshit that I will have to pay to send it back, when the flaw was with their system.

Sorry, just venting.

They never announce it in advance, so you're not going to know when the sale starts . . . well. . .until it starts. Just be patient and keep checking their site.
