I'm actually pretty happy with the way this turned out. I got for $20 Rudy Deluxe and Showgirls VIP edition, and $15 dollars in coupons. These coupons can be used together on one item, so I just bought a $20 DVD for a few bucks.

I too ordered Traffic CC and I too just got an e-mail for the $5 Digital Coupon since they cancelled my order. It's better than nothing. I'll take the $5 and put it to good use. I even got Rudy DE, so $5 Digital Coupon + Rudy DE for $7.50 ain't too bad.

I'm deciding on whether I should use my $5 digital coupon on the new Dane Cook CD + DVD. It's on sale for $11.99, so I'd have to pony up the extra $7. I've spent waaay too much on CDs and DVDs lately, so I might go the cheap-ass route and get something close to $5. :o

That's what I'm debating over also. There's a couple of $6 titles I could get (Enemy at the Gates, The Hours, Mo Better Blues, Sex, Lies and Videotape) but a handful of $8-10 titles that are more tempting. Trying to narrow it down to just the one title from the 2 I'd like the most.

I picked up Daylight for $1 w/ the coupon. They also had Total Recall and the Bear for $5.99 if someone is looking for something cheap to get. Both are good films.

I got the cancellation notice for Traffic, with no digital coupon. I called customer service, and the lady said she could "lock in the sale price" and forward my inquiry on to "the promotional people," but it "wasn't guaranteed." Isn't that what "locking in the price" means? Anyway, apparantly the "promotional guys" didn't agree to this because they e-mailed me a $5 digital coupon thingy.

I just bought Top Secret! for $1.04 with in-store pickup. Can't argue with that I guess.

They sent me 4 five dollar coupons so I am pretty happy with this deal!

I had the same thing happen, but my order status shows a charge & a credit for $4.85, THEN a charge for $7.50. Weird.

Just used my coupon, Quiz Show a movie I've wanted for a while but guess I forgot about it, came out to $3 shipped, it's no Traffic CC but I won't complain.

Ali Director's Cut arrived in the mail today; we'll see if the Traffic disc that was sent out separately is actually the Criterion edition.

My Knight's Tale Superbit is in ABQ and will be here in Farmington, hopefully tomorrow. That was shipped out of California. The Showgirls was shipped from IL and I have no idea when it will arrive.

No, just one Traffic for me and I'm still waiting on my Amistad Dts. I figure they would cancel any large(3) order first, it must of worked. I'm still deciding on how to use my digital coupons, maybe Deadwood. I also managed to use my Reward Zone card after the fact. :banana:

I received my DVDs today, as did many people. I'm surprised to see no copies of Traffic yet.

I am all over the next mistake or good deal. Like most here, I knew this mistake was just that a mistake. I am happy that I was able to get in on this deal and was able to get what I got (so far nothing because I have yet to actually receive anything). I am all about taking advantages of Big Corporate Giants especially those who do not let the Salvation Army in front of their Crappy stores!

Without looking does anybody remember the OP. I don't and it is ashame that he/she is not receiving more praise from us!
