Yeah, but that's probably a good reason why so many are getting the same thing from BN...

I know that's why I restricted my searches to Buena Vista DVDs and Box Sets (which would be far too expensive through CH).

Its actually spelled "c'est la vie". Just in case you want to use the phrase for something important.

I finally placed my 2 orders.

I wanted to wait till I got home cuz I had a gift card with $43 and change on it. (This is how I got screwed over with the FYE.com/Coconuts.com LOTR: ROTK EE deal a few weeks back, but I was willing to risk it again cuz LOTR can still be had for $21.59 after STL from Amazon).

I ended up ordering:
LOTR ROTK: EE for $19.52 (NYC 8.625% Tax) and Arrested Development Season One for the same price.

I also used ******** for an extra 4% off.

Much thanks to MISS PEACH cuz I didn't think that I'd ever use this gift card.

you can't use it on the same account.

you just need to set up another account with a different e-mail address. you can use the same Credit Card if you want.

Personally, I had an old account from a long time ago with my defunct NYU e-mail. I changed the e-mail to another e-mail. For my second account, I just opened an account with the e-mail that I use all the time now.

Before Sunset/Before Sunrise 2- Pack - $23.98

The Arcade Fire - Funeral - $3.98

Wish I had known about this last week; I bought Arrested Development and America the Book for $40 from Amazon. This would have saved me $13.

Interesting, but due to past (annoying) experiences with Columbia House, I would rather pay anything then to give them my current phone number.

Wow, what a hassle trying to find something decently-priced to use this coupon on. Finally picked up All In The Family Third Season for $15.48 after coupon.

B&N's DVD prices are just too painful. I ended up getting the Gollum book and the Dirk Gently series for $15 and change. I wish this coupon had come out before I bought my 2005 calendars.

They have a good price on the Greg The Bunny DVDs - $18.88 before coupon. Got that and a cd to get the free shipping.

Also, arrested development is $28 before coupon. $18 w/ free shipping after coupon which is a killer deal.

Found a dvd I want to buy and its $24.28. Since shipping is more than $ .72, is there any way to search B&N for items under a buck so I can save the shipping cost?

I added Lullaby by Chuck Palachiuk for $4.98 to get a DVD over 25$ for free shipping. it was like adding a book for $2.

There is also Roger Eberts movie yearbook 2004 $5.98

Check out the sale annex tab. They also have VHS in that section.
I want to echo what towbinaj said: Boogie over to the SALE ANNEX! especially if you want books — but DVDs are there, as well.

Dawn of the Dead 4 disc for $23.23. It beats waiting for the DDD 20% sale.

So I placed my order yesterday, and even got the e-mail that it has shipped.

I checked my credit card statement online, and found out that Barnes and Noble.com has 3 pending charges - each one is the amount of my order.

I'm sure they will drop off, but I just found that weird.

Yes, I generally see the Discovercard Cashback Award on the Statement that shows the purchase!

Also, I failed to point out — the 7% DiscoverCard Cashback award is in addition to your (current) award tier with Discover: For example, I only use my DiscoverCard for Barnes & Noble Purchases — thus, I rarely exceed my ¼% base tier — so my lead thread should have indicated . . .

7% Cashback Award in addition to your current tier. The Cashback award for my $25.00 hardcover will actually be $1.81 (7¼%).

Oh and . . . Barnes & Noble ships fast — really really fast. Like my friend LASERMOVIES, I got my shipping notification within minutes of placing my order and already have my UPS tracking number!

I Vitelloni - Criterion

$26.98 regular, $16.98 with the discount.

Most of their Criterion prices are $10 higher (or more) than elsewhere, making the $10 off discount worthless. But this one was only $5-7 more, so with the discount and free shipping it was a great deal.

Cross another off my DDD 20% waiting list :-).

OMG! I can't believe I forgot about them! I even had $3 in credit still sitting on my account from 2000!!! I used to use them a lot, then completely forgot they existed. I'm so glad you mentioned that! They give rebates from sooooo many websites. I've missed out on a lot these last 4 years...
