Pre-Order Status
I pre-ordered West Wing Season 3 on October 27 using the $10 code. Received a note on November 2 that shipping would be delayed 1-5 days. Checked the order status at BN.COM and it says it is scheduled to ship on January 1, 2005.
I'm hoping they honor the $10 code but I don't know if I want to wait until January.

Finally received Battle of Algiers yesterday, 9 days after ordering and 8 days after it shipped. Looks like a terrific set. There's a nice booklet included with it about the subject matter.
Thanks again Miss Peach.

Pre-order shipped
Received email that my pre-order for The Rapture shipped today. Confirmed same on B&N's website.
I guess the earlier website status of an estimated shipping date of Jan 1 2005 was a bug.

Glad to see B&N is honoring the pre-orders. Things are looking good for my Seinfeld sets. $50 for the first 3 seasons will be quite a deal. Only negatives I see at this point are B&N inconsistent shipping times. Some of my orders I got the next day, shipped via UPS. A few others took over a week to get to me, sent via US Mail. And to think I praised their shipping so much in an earlier post ;-) Oh well, still an unbelievable deal... thanks again Peach!

I'm sorry some of you are experiencing untoward delays in getting your merchandise tsk.
It's strange, because I placed a (separate from this deal) B&N order 10 days ago (books. yes. again.
) and these were plain-old vanilla books in print — nothing special (welllll, they were 40% off but that's not really a factor) — anyhoo, they are booksona non grata. So if some of you feel bad with your shipping times, it happens to me too LOL.
How does that poem go?
When [they] were good, they were very very good.
And when they were bad they were rotten!
Awwww. I still luv em. Too much, since I touched that Third Rail and set up a ((Second)) ((Account)).

Oh my poor long-suffering credit card LOL.

Received Friends S8 today via UPS!
Good to see that they are filling pre-orders as well.
Only one more to go! The Office Special at the end of the month. Looking good so far. We shall see!

Now the only question is . . . do I watch The Making Of first . . . or the movie.
Ah yes, the question that has stumped the human race for thousands of years.

smbenkeno, thanks, just tried this. I've been trying to find a way to get LOTR:ROTK ee for the lowest price without having to wait forever (like with amazon). With membership, total was 21.58.

I got my LOTR today as well.
They actually tried to deliver it to me on Tuesday but I wasn't home and my doorman wasn't on duty yet.
$17.98 + Tax = $19.53
Thanks Again Miss Peach.
