Amazon.com misprice on The Bretts
This 1987 British series is currently listed for $5.98 at amazon.com for a 5-disc set. I'm sure this should be $59.98...

I ordered a copy but you never know if Amazon will honor or cancel the orders. Next best price for the set is about $32 at DVDSoon. So obviously it looks like a misprice.

It's also a blind by for me but it is worth the gamble at that price. And I'm sure the sales rank will go up rapidly when more people are aware of the error. Also availability for shipping is 5 to 6 days, which means Amazon will most likely catch the misprice before shipping.

Since this would appear to be a substantial misprice that could be corrected at any time, holding back in the hopes of saving an extra 60 cents may not be the wisest thing to do.

Heh. I already had five STL's by yesterday afternoon. It's good to have connections.
And btw, I have to agree with illenium on this one. First disc I ever bought that I didn't know a damn thing about... but I love Brit-TV (and hopefully the Bretts).
Has this ever been on BBC-America?

Hmmm.... a $59.98 set selling for $5.98 and people are waiting for STL to save an extra $0.60?
In that case, don't forget to use the a9 search engine on the Amazon home page and save an additional pi/2% from your order. This will cut an additional - get ready - $.08
off the total for the set! That would make this set $5.30.
