You're welcome. And I forgot to say thanks for posting that. I had a Fry's ad in front of me and I didn't even notice the Star Wars deal.

If I didn't already buy from DDD, I'd be heading to Fry's.

Best B&M price I've seen so far. I think only Walmart could beat that, and it would only be by pennies. Of course, that varies with each store, so I'm gonna stick with Fry's.

For the past couple of months, prices have been taken from CheapAssGamer.com by myself and others.

It's pretty time consuming to post the prices (for me just to edit TrustCompany's prices at CAG.com takes me over an hour usually) so those that have the ads already don't wanna take 1+ hour of their lives out to post the prices.

They should be available Saturday cuz the sales circulars are included with Saturday's papers for those that get home delivery.

They don't seem to be posted at CAG.com anyways. There's a thread asking the same thing, but the usual poster seems to be out. I hate when people leave loose ends before vacation.

sorry, i forgot to mention that they're not up at CAG.com this week.

Frankly, this week, I've been insanely busy at work so I wouldn't have had time to post them even if they were up at CAG.

But if you see them up at any site, then feel free to post the prices in a DVD friendly format. If someone else does it, they can appreciate the amount of time that it takes to post those prices.

Anyone have a copy of the ad? Or any Portland Otters that can point me to which paper it would be in so I can price match.

I went with Amazon. I had a GC and used STL and opted for free shipping. I received my notice that it shipped Friday. Scheduled delivery from PA is wednesday the 22nd. Good enough for me.
Can't wait.

Is there an advantage to buying now if you don't mind waiting another year or so? I love these films but saw them all (again) recently and thought they might all be released as one mega set after the next Star Wars film is released (Clone Wars). Or do you think they'll just release all the others together to fit with this trilogy?

I'd hate to get this and then have to buy them again in a mega set in two years...

Thanks for all the info about prices everyone!

Amazon continues to disappoint me. I ordered this ages ago and it shows it is not scheduled to ship until 9/28...

My order from March is still open with a 28th delivery estimate, as well.

I live in Kentucky in the same city where the major Amazon warehouse is located. My wife worked there a couple weeks. It STILL takes in upwards of 2 weeks for them to ship my stuff. Pisses me off.. especially since UPS is right next door, so there shouldn't be any excuse for UPS to take 3-4 days to ship it either.

Yeah, should be close to this price. Their online price is $41.88 and they tend to sell things for a couple dollars cheaper in their stores.

I'll be hitting Wal*Mart after work even though Fry's is cheaper. It's just too crazy at Fry's unless you get there early in the am.

From various topics, I get the feeling these won't be released again as anything more than they are now until they come out in the next format (HD-DVD). They very well may be released again in one set, but I don't think there will be any additional content.

Cancelled my Amazon.com order. Ordered it months ago and it's showing on my account that it won't even ship until 9/28. I won't receive it until the beginning of October. Bah. Ridiculous.

Do not underestimate the power of the Fry's, or suffer buyer's remorse you will.

I wouldn't put too much stock in Amazon's pre-order shipping dates.

They ALWAYS say that my orders will ship two to three weeks after release date, and I always get them either ON release date or the day after.

Of course, for this title I'll probably wait outside of Best Buy just before they open to stand in line and talk SW with the other geeks waiting to get their copies.

I'm still looking around for Philly stores that will be open at midnight to sell it. Sounds like a fun Star Wars party in the making.

I NEVER order a release I want on release day from Amazon. The DVD would always arrive a week late.
