Re: Comic Book Cover Of The Day
^Just guessing here but I am going to guess that the "real" Batman would never harm any fish and him kicking the dude is letting the fish escape.
Or Batman is right-handed and would never lead a super-duper kung-fun karate kick with his left leg!
Spoiler...I looked it up and I was wrong on both accounts.

I've never been as huge a fan of Simonson as others.
Sometimes his stuff looks really good; other times it comes off rushed, sloppy, and unfinished. And, even at the best of times, it often felt harsh, angular, and stiff. Not sure if the problem with X-Factor was with the inks -- I think Wiacek did most of it, but the "Inferno" issues with Milgrom were particularly terrible -- though Milgrom seldom did anybody he inked any favors.

Was the costumes or Walter Simonson's art?

^(I still have my copy of this. When it was released, I bought it just for the cover alone but loved the art inside as well. It was like nothing I had really seen before and felt cartoony but fresh. Had no idea it was part of this storyline until now, but I never was a big X-Men/Mutant fan.)

(^I scanned the QR code, so you don't have to! It takes you to YouTube, but the video is now unavailable, so I have no idea what it was.)
