That looks nice. I wonder if they announced this now since it's rumored that HabroLab will announce a huge Marvel Legends Galactus that is supposed to be bigger than the Sentinel they did.

^ I wasn't aware of that. Interesting.

People are saying that they've heard that the new Sideshow will be close in size to the first one from 8 years ago, or slightly smaller. That was 33". The base accounted for about 2.5-3" of that.

The Hasbro Pulse event they held had a teaser during the Marvel Legends panel that had the FF, so that's where the Galactus rumor comes from. Some people are saying maybe it's not Galactus, maybe it's a Fantasticar or Giganto but that would be such a huge letdown if it's not Galactus.

A Galactus that size needs a herald.

Was it this one?

I kind of like that one better. But I am not looking forward to what inflation has done with the price tag in the last 8 years.

That's what I think Hasbro is going to do. Start with the crowdfunding for Galactus and add heralds as the funding goals increase.

I didn't really have the space but ended up with a new Tweeterhead Shazam Maquette anyway. I absolutely love it, this is a great statue. It really pops in person and the sculpt is fantastic. My variant version came with two heads - one serious and one smiling. Awesome, awesome piece if you love Captain Marvel. If I had the space, the Catwoman from the same line looks like a catch.

It reminds me of the painted version of the Alex Ross Shazam statue from 20 years ago or so.

Which I also own...the Ross statue is almost a trinket by comparison. Far smaller when compared next to each other. Tweeterhead basically copies Captain Marvel's power stance from it but designs a snazzier cape, while also bulking up Cap's muscles.

The 1/6th scale is probably my preferred size for a statue.

Nice, the original Bronze version. They re-released a smaller copy in full color. I remember when the Silver Superman statue came out, I thought long and hard about it before deciding I wanted it in color. Unfortunately, I don't think they ever reissued the Alex Ross Superman in color.

There was a smaller color version of Superman:

We should just merge this sticky thread into the toys & collectables sticky thread. They seem redundant.

Anyway, I am not a huge Doctor Doom fan, but I thought this looked pretty cool.

AND this isn't a statue or a bust anyway!

It does look cool but I have to imagine it largely depends on the size of your head/body as to whether it would look cool on me.

Well...here is a quite striking statue for a measly 3800 smackers. More pix on the link.

Took me way too long to figure out that was Ghost Rider.
