Yup! I redid all the labels and photos, too. Sadly, while trying to adjust a minor problem a few years ago, something went ZAP and it doesn't work now. I hope to get it repaired someday when I can financially afford to.

Re: The Official Toys and Collectibles Thread

Did anyone here buy this set when it came out? I remember seeing it at KB Toys back in the day but I learned today that the figures were all stuck to the base they came in and that all of the joints were glued. Basically, this set was to be kept in the box and the figures to be displayed, not played with.

I think I remember seeing that set back in the 90's.

FYI, Amazon is having a sale on a bunch of statues and toys during their Prime Days sale. Would list some of them here, but prices are fluctuating fast and stuff is going out of stock. Just check under Toys and Collectibles on their Prime sale.

Yeah, I heard some MacFarlane DC toys were on sale but they were already back up to full price by the time I heard about it.

My understanding is that Target, Walmart and Amazon are going to carry the figures in the US. Maybe Walgreens may get some

You mean Skelegod? He's been available online for about a week:
https://www.target.com/p/masters-of-...87#lnk=sametab

The only two figures they seem to have available are this one and the new Battlecat.

Note that there are three different MOTU lines:
This line, Masterverse, which will include figures from the new Netflix series MOTU: Revelation, and apparently some other figures. This is just coming out. Wave 1 is supposed to be Skelegod, He-man, Skeletor, Evil Lyn, Moss Man, and Battlecat.
Masters of the Universe Origins, which are basically the old toys reimagined. This has been out for a while though it started as a Walmart exclusive.
An upcoming line based on a second animated series at Netflix aimed at younger kids. This isn't out yet.

edited to add:
So with Masterverse, they are doing a really weird timed exclusive thing:
Skelegod and Battle Cat are exclusive to Target for a couple of months
The rest of wave 1 are exclusive at Walmart.
Why? Who knows, that seems like a decent way to miss the mark on the line but I'm no marketing genius.

This would be kind of cool at like 10 bucks. At the same price as a regular figure, no way (the least he could do is make the stands articulated or something. At least you can't say that he got the likeness wrong, though.

I'm actually a little surprised he didn't save that to pack in with Mineta or something, but I guess if you can milk this for the price of a full figure, you do it.

Re: The Official Toys and Collectibles Thread

Even though it's just a timed exclusive, I still think it's dumb. Who wants to buy a $40 Battle Cat when He-man is only available in another store? Collectors, I guess, but not kids.

Reportedly it'll be 400 bucks (we'll find out in a couple of hours for sure). If that's the case it better come with a bunch of heralds...

Re: The Official Toys and Collectibles Thread

There it is, $399.99. 32" tall, 300 pieces and 70+ points of articulation, with 3 swappable face plates, and lots of light up features. Wow.

At 32" tall does that still keep in a 1:12 scale with 6" figures? So then he's 192' tall? I suppose he can always change his height, or at least his height, mass, etc. changes depending on how hungry he is.

Side by side with the 26" sentinel, he actually looks a little small. That probably sounds ridiculous, but that's my first impression.

Re: The Official Toys and Collectibles Thread

It is absolutely gigantic, like the size of a small child. I'm still on the fence. I'd have hoped they would've delivered the Sentinel first before opening up preorders for this.

Huh? A 32" figure at 1:12 scale is 32', which is pretty much his accepted height (with the understanding that he can change his size at will).

Re: The Official Toys and Collectibles Thread

Does it include the Power Cosmic? For $400, I'd like at least a little of the Power Cosmic. If that's not possible, I'd like a meet-n-greet with Frankie Raye.

That looks about right.

Galactus' size is variable, and I think he's usually shown to be about 30 feet tall.

Re: The Official Toys and Collectibles Thread

I wonder if an Ant-Man as Giant Man like in Captain America: Civil War would ever happen, maybe at the Sentinel height of 26". Have it come with Spider-Man (and discreet places all over his body where a "web" can be pegged in for swinging), the Wasp (in microsize, to scale), an airplane boarding jetway or part of an airplane that can "crack" under his weight, and a water truck gas truck. And some orange slices.
