1973 Ideal Playset.

A little before my time, but I vividly remember coming across an Ideal playset at a garage sale in the 1980s.

I think I'm going to hunt down originals of those Rudolph comics! Never knew Rudolph appeared in comics.

Because the Collector Gene is so strong in me, I had the same thought. But it passed pretty quick because I really can't afford to go after something like that. Back in the 1970s when DC was doing all their Treasury Editions, the only ones I didn't bother getting were the Rudolph books. (I may need to reverify that, but years ago I checked what I had against the PriceGuide and it seemed I was only missing Rudolph).

I have 3 of the regular issue (of 13) so far. Found at my local shop for about $8 each. They are stupid expensive at cons though.

I would guess demand for them (and prices) might drop in about 48 hours.

I challenge the idea of a comic book geek being married.

Wow, I hadn't thought about Zayre in a long, long time. I have a couple fond memories of shopping Zayre as a kid.

I feel like I remember seeing this solicitation on the Preview book at the time. Such an X-Force rip off. Domino, Feral, Deadpool/Cable. "Rebel Mutants" "X-citing"...geez I wonder why this was never published.
