I did, but being into comics for as long as I have makes familiarity with certain covers almost natural. I sent the image to a friend (also into comics) who thought it was interesting, and assumed it was more recent than 1991 (I did too). It got me thinking though ... how many kids (or adults) that read Donald Duck comics actually would catch the swipe from Mad? I doubt many younger readers have any idea. But, it's a fun cover for those of us who know the origins.

I don't recognize Mighty Mouse 5 or Darkwing Duck 7. Are those also classic covers?

I was an 80s comic reader. I bought Dark Knight Returns and Killing Joke off the racks.

The camera Megatron is holding is another Decepticon called Reflector, that turns into a camera. (Actually three robots that turn into one camera; it's kind of an obscure character that was only used sparingly in the cartoon.)
