It's really eerie that DC is having a sale on Darwyn Cooke stuff the week his terminal illness is announced an he passes away; I'm not sure if that's scummy and overly oppertunistic or just bizzare coincidence.

The sale went up before his family announced he had cancer. I suppose the DC brass may have been informed ahead of time and decided to do a sale to up his royalties.

Pretty sure it's just a sad coincidence. I don't think many (any?) people knew he was sick until just a day or two before he died.

Note that despite the sale, "The Wraith: Welcome to Christmasland" is still cheaper on Amazon, at $3.99 :

DC added a 'Road to Rebirth' sale with $0.99 singles of Convergence, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Flashpoint, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, Flash: Rebirth, Green Lantern: Rebirth.

https://www.comixology.com/Road-to-R...ale/page/10727

I think this is the first sale on Convergence.
This sale ends on 5/24/16, which is Tuesday, 1 day later than DC's usual Tuesday-Monday sale cycle.

I know nothing of that Psylocke run, and like Yost as a writer, but can that Psylocke cover be any more cliche?

A "Garth Ennis Dynamite" sale on Comixology -

for about five times the price of the current Humble bundle, you can get the same contents, this time - with DRM. No idea why they would do such a sale now.

https://www.comixology.com/Garth-Enn...ale/page/10809

Also, a "Revival" sale, from Image -

I'm enjoying it, I just hope the story is headed somewhere - so far they keep stacking up questions without any answers in sight. Hoping it won't be another "Lost" scenario where the ending mainly leaves you frustrated.

The Incal is a surreal book that makes good use of the comic book illustrated medium for some far out imagery/plot but perhaps takes it to a fault and gets too metaphysical, quasi-spiritual for my taste. They nailed enough of the fantastic 'plot' that it's definitely worth checking out. There are a number if sequels/prequels that I haven't read yet.

All the X-Men/Claremont/Lee titles are .99cents each. It crosses over into the stuff he wrote before that like Uncanny X-Men and New Mutants, etc.

That would be a nice way to christen my new ipad. Is that the entire run?

Anyone know what the deal is with the coloring on the Simonson Thor trades? The preview pages on vol. 1 look like the updated digital coloring that was done for the omnibus. Vols. 2-4 previews have the original colors. I thought that the original printed copies of the visionaries trades all had the old coloring. Old colors or new, it would be kind of a bummer if they weren't consistent.

I can confirm that Walter Simonson Visionaries volume 1 is the updated coloring throughout but volume 2-4 are the original coloring altogether. That is odd.

Curiously where did you find this promo code? It seems like an unusually good deal and I didn't see it in e-mail.

I've enjoyed the ride to the end of Revival more than I ever did with Lost. So even if they don't stick the landing I won't feel like my time has been wasted reading it. I'm gonna miss it when it's gone.
