I didn't even know Amazon had kindle deals every Friday. They had a few civil war collections for about a buck cheaper than comixology. Apparently last weekend it was half off all Marvel collections or something like that.

I think it was the same weekend where Comixology was b1g1f on all Marvel.

Oh, and happy FCBD everyone!

There's an OK Darwyn Cooke sale. Some of the books, like New Frontier and Before Watchmen are $1.99, but things like Batman/Spirit and his Jonah Hex and Solo issues are well work 99 cents.

I don't 'get' DC's $1.99 sale price on 2011-2012 releases; I wish there was some logic to the higher price tag on some of these issues. New Frontier has been $0.99/issue on sale more recently.

Solo was an sadly short-lived series where creators got 48 pages to do pretty much whatever they want:

Slight link fix for you there.

Sounds like DC: a new series is widely praised, wins three Eisners, and gets cancelled.

You have a ) outside of the quote. What are those called in singular form, a parenth?

There's a new Dynamite Humble Bundle that's Garth Ennis focused. You can get all of The Boys (and some other stuff) for $15.

I think it's parenthesis, vs. parentheses plural.

Want 20% off all your Marvel/DC Comixology and Dark Horse purchases? $50 iTunes cards are $40 at ebay right now. Probably won't last long.

Amazon has Kindle versions of a bunch of Spider-man book for $4.99. I'm not sure if they'll transfer to Comixology or not:

Hopefully everyone will give the Darwyn Cooke stuff a chance with the announcement that he has an aggressive form of cancer. I'm sure every little bit of money from royalties will help his family.
