Re: Comic Conventions

I believe I have the line up for autographs at Planet Comic-Con. I'll be attending Mar 17th.

Priscilla Presley, Maggie Grace, Jeffrey Combs, Kimiko Glenn (Orange is the New Black). I will see how my time goes, I might add Keith David.

I was thinking of Sean Astin but he didn't have a special autograph\selfie price. $100 autograph and $100 selfie. Everybody else was $340 total.

I'd like to get Elijah Wood to be my 3rd signature on my Sin City DVD but he won't be there on Friday.

Re: Comic Conventions

From this past Saturday at Transformer Con 2026. Frank Welker and Peter Cullen. Megatron and Optimus Prime. Both were great. They said hello and shook hands with everyone.

Re: Comic Conventions

Comic Con Revolution in May made more announcements this past week

Grant Gustan, Danielle Panabaker and John Wesley Shipp were added as guests.

Oh my goodness. I need to save up more now.

We now have the Battlestar Galactica cast, the cast of 90210, some from the Arrowverse and now some cast members from The Flash.

My sister is actually joining me as she wants to meet the cast of 90210. No Jason Priestley or Tori Spelling yet.

What do you do with all of your autographed items? Do you have multiple displays or something?

Re: Comic Conventions

So today I pulled the trigger and pre-ordered by photo ops and autographs from Comic Con Revolution next month.

Photo,Ops
Grant Gustin
Danielle Panabaker
Grace Park
Edward James Olmos
doing a shared photo op with my sister with the cast of the original Beverly Hills 90210

Autographs
Olmos
Gustin
Panabaker
Park
Jennie Garth from 90210

Yes, this a lot. I am debating whether or not I want to do a photo op with Katee Sackhoff and or John Wesley Shipp.

But, I'm really psyched. Great group of guests. There are several more Arrowverse actors like David Ramsay, Katie Cassidy and Caity Lotz, but I'm pretty tapped out. Very tapped out now.

I'm just having Gustin and Panabaker sign 8x10s.

and I opted for only 1 autograph with one of the cast of 90210, Of course I had to go with Garth/Kelly Taylor. That was a no brainer.

Re: Comic Conventions

Fan Expo San Francisco, which was the biggest pop culture and comic con in the Bay Area will not be back in 2026

San Francisco continues it's decline.

To our San Francisco Community,

Thank you.

For the past five years, you’ve made FAN EXPO at the Moscone Center something truly special. From incredible cosplay to unforgettable fan moments, this community has been the heart of it all.

As we looked ahead, we weren’t able to secure dates that meet the experience we’re committed to delivering. Because of that, we’ve made the difficult decision not to move forward with FAN EXPO San Francisco.

This isn’t goodbye to the fandom, it’s a shift. While we’ll miss gathering in San Francisco, we’ll continue celebrating with fans across our events. If you’ve ever thought about experiencing another event with an awesome group of fans, we’d love to see you.
Thank you for everything you’ve brought to this community.

We hope to see you again soon.
The FAN EXPO Team

It is so sad to see what San Francisco has become in the last few years.

Re: Comic Conventions

I like GalaxyCon at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center (an alternative option for people who will miss Fan Expo SF). That venue is top tier.

I was considering going to Fandom Con last week (also at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, sort of...), but opted for Vacaville Comic Con (really small, local con). I made the right choice. Search Fandom Con on Youtube or Instagram. People compared it to that Willy Wonka Con in Glaslow
