Well, two times now he's been proven wrong, and the heroes have suffered and even died because of his arrogance.
ok, fair enough. But hasn't it been mentioned that Superman asked Bruce/Bats to keep some Kryptonite "just in case"? Maybe Bats is the right one. Mind you, it wasn't Bats who took the info and used it against the Heroes.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of there being a failsafe if someone needed to be taken down... I just think that any rational person would not feel comfortable with information on how to kill them being in the hands of a paranoid that can't keep it secure.

They find out he's kept a spy satellite system to watch them, Checkmate takes control of it, many heroes are killed.
What do they do? They shrug their shoulders and say "ah, it's just what Batman does."

As a far as we know, Maxwell Lord just hi-jacked his satellite. But who says that Bats was storing any info there? Max could have easily aquired that info himself, given his connections with the JLA and Checkmate. And, it's not as if the DEO hasn't been keeping files on everyone in the DC universe, too. Info that could also very easily have been co-opted by Max.
I think that just because we've seen Batman do this type of thing before (i.e. "Tower Of Babel") - that many are assuming Bats is to blame for intel on the superhuman community being stolen - when it might not have been his intel at all.
From the way I read it, Max pretty much screwed everyone in getting the OMAC project up and going. Yeah, Bats is partially to blame - but I wouldn't throw all the burden of it on him.

What's everyone's thoughts on Stephen King writing a prequel to the Dark Tower for Marvel? I'm in to it. Think of all the additional readers comic books can bring in if this is done right. If some other publishers market their books right when the first King book hits, we could see a mini-boom in comic sales.

I think it's fantastic. I've actually never read any King before, but his name alone will bring some attention to comics which makes me happy. I was all set to read the Dark Tower series but chickened out because...them's be a lot of books (for how I read) yo. I would imagine there would be a small overlap of fans of King/Horror and fans of comics, but his books should bring a bunch of new people into shops and hopefully the shop owners and workers will introduce those new to comics to other works to create new life long fans. All in all a very good thing. If nothing else you know it will be talked about in Entertainment Weekly.
Let's just hope the damn book is good to keep these people coming back and get them curious about other books.

Wonder Woman 222 was decent, but it felt...empty. Almost like filler before the big events coming up.
Anyone read Loveless #1? I thought it was great.
