Anyone know about comic books? Dark Horse Comics?

I have 4 First Print mint Dark Horse comics from their Aliens series produced back in 1997. The first series were 2 comics called Alien: Resurrection, and the second was Alien: Alchemy, which consisted of 3 comic books ( I have the first two).

Anyway, just curious on the potential collectability of these. I found them neatly preserved in a box as I was cleaning a few things today.

Probably worth very little. You're better off asking this in BookTalk though

The current Overstreet Price Guide has each at 3 bucks.

Looks like I'm boxing them back up and forgetting about'em for another 8 years.

You might as well box them up and forget about them for 40 decades. These may become valuable when people who were teenagers in 1997 start retiring and looking to relive their childhoods. Even then, I wouldn't count on these being too valuable. Old comics are valuable because they were viewed as disposable until the 1980s. Now, everyone is preserving their comics, so in 2045, there will be a ready supply of well-kept copies of this floating around to meet the demand.

Those first few Alien Dark Horse Comics are pretty cool. I have them boxed up somewhere myself.
