*CONGO by Michael Chrichton ( this was my first Crichton book. Kinda dissapointed honestly kinda just meh. Started off pretty good but the last 150 pages were boring. Movie was wayyyy better. Book doesnt even have any mention of Sesame cakes Grade C
*Size Matters Not: The Extraordinary Life and Career of Warwick Davis (Great autobiography. One of the Best I have read. I highly recommend this. I found out a lot about Star Wars I never knew about like the Return of the Ewok promotional film they made and lots more. Warwick is freakin awesome. Grade A
*KIlling Floor by Lee Child
Go the F**k to Sleep by Adam Mansbach and Ricardo Cortés

Just an FYI: Call Me is NOT a Creed book. It's a whole new series (hopefully). But, when you read Maybe, there are a few references to Call Me and some small things are explained. Again, you don't have to read CM before you read Maybe.
I read the first western and didn't love it, I didn't hate it either. I LOVE Locke's style of writing and so I'll always try anything he writes.
And yeah, Creed is a hoot!
I also enjoyed his How To book: How I Sold 1mil eBooks in 5 Months.
Interesting side note: he writes an entire chapter on how much he admires
Joe Paterno, wonder what he thinks of him now.
Anyway, I recommend it because it tells his story on how he got started in business and became a very successful writer much later. Very interesting.

I finished Call Me and enjoyed it. Half way through Maybe and I now really appreciate your recommendation to read it first. There are enough references to Call Me that I think it would have bothered me to not have read it first.
How is this? I have started it a couple times but haven't been hooked. Does it start out slow and ramp up?

About to start Glen Cook's "Introducing Garrett, P.I.", a compendium featuring "Sweet Silver Blues", "Bitter Gold Hearts" and "Cold Copper Tears".

Really enjoying it. He's pretty clever with how he weaves in the vampire stuff to established history.

Finished The Passage. Was pretty disappointed. A great beginning, followed by one of the slowest middles which caused me to put the book down for a few months followed by an okay end. Most of the characters just seemed run of the mill boring to me with the exception of Amy.
It just felt like he author was writing The Stand 2.0

Finished Ready Player One and really enjoyed it... but also felt the ending was a little rushed/weak.
Now I intend to breeze through the three John Locke westerns!

I agree with you about the ending of Ready Player One's ending. Plus I saw the bit with

edit: And did you real This is Not a Game? That was probably my favorite of the novels set in a future with an integrated gaming world. A fantastic book. Not quite the popcorn read of Ready Player One but, imo, better plotted and written.

Thanks for the rec. I will add it to my Goodreads list and check it out at some point. As for Ready Player One:

I have not read This is Not a Game I will have to add that to my list of things to read. I am trying to mix some non-fiction in as well so I feel like I am learning something while I read. I am also listening to books on my way to and from work. Right now I am reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest.
