I post when I'm done with a book, but I agree with you, so far. 3 books in and it's the best in the series. Loved, loved, loved it.

To those that read The Lost Symbol, can you see Keith David playing Warren Bellamy in the movie? The guy that is reading the audiobook sounds just like him.

I've read about 100 pages of 370 so far. I don't want to say too much about it, but if you think you're even a little bit interested in this one, I'd say give it a shot. I'm looking forward to picking it up again this evening.

I have a few books on the go right now, so I'll add those in, too.

I loved it. Head Games is a great first novel. I will be reading the Hector Lassiter books 2 and 3 soon.

I'm looking forward towards seeing Craig McDonald at a book signing in March at Foul Play books in Westerville, Ohio (McDonald lives in my hometown - Columbus, Ohio).

If I even get time this week to start it with all the hoopla that has been happening at work:

BTW - I kept restarting it because it was so enjoyable I was trying to force myself to read it slow.

Re: What are you reading? (February 2010)

I did that with the last Harry Potter book. I restarted it like 4 times, after about 500 pages each time. I just finished it late last year. Somehow, I avoided spoilers that whole time.

Reading this

I saw it recommended a couple of places and grabbed the sample and got sucked in. Goofy title or no it's pretty good so far if you like post-apocalypse stuff.

Re: What are you reading? (February 2010)

I was going to start Level 26, but after reading a number of negative reviews on Amazon, I am having second thoughts. For those that have read it, what were your thoughts?

Average at best. I had high expectations going in and was let down. The 'digi-book' aspect wasn't all that effective either.

I agree entirely. I was really excited for the book and the idea of a digi-book. It was waaaaay more graphic and kind of torture-porn than i expected it to be. Also, the process of checking out the videos became a bigger pain than a benefit and i stopped caring because i would be reading the book out somewhere and come to the code for the video in the middle of a chapter. This meant i either had to record the code somewhere or mark the page to check out when i got home. Then i would keep reading and run into another code. At one point i had like 5 codes written on a piece of paper and just gave up on the watching the videos.
