Re: What are you reading? (January 2009)

Just finished off The Singing Sword, and will now begin the 3rd book of the Camulod Chronicles:

The first 2 books were absolutely amazing, loving this series so far.

Re: What are you reading? (January 2009)

Finished recently:

Blink by Malcolm Gladwell

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by F Scott Fitzgerald (short story)

Playing for Pizza by John Grisham

Cross Country by James Patterson

Beetle The Bard by JK Rowling

All of these are short books, so I was able to tear through them in the last week. Now that I am back to work though, my reading pace will definitely slow down.

I am a member of Audible so I do listen to audio books. I have a 45 minute commute each way so I get at least and hour and a half of listening done a day, more if I set my iPod to "faster" I enjoy listening to the book while I read along with a hard copy, I find I have better retention I learn to pronounce words that I would usually just skip over.

The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper. I've been on a Ripper kick lately, and this book basically gathers a bunch of different viewpoints on who The Ripper may have been, and details on the actual murders.
