That was a pretty old thread.

That's certainly an element in the book too, but I was alluding to
Spoiler:
some of the appendixes. In particular, The Whalestoe Letters which may add a new dimension into the book.

I just happened to read this site the other day. Check it out.

I didn't know whether to like, laugh or write a strongly worded letter, to *someone*.... But yeah. At least two of these books are on my kids bookshelves and have been for years... It's kind of sad. They are obviously written as children's books. (Not to minimize your fear - I'm just older I guess. They scared the bejesus out of my 21 y/o son! And then his younger sister, heh.

Just finished this Michael Marshall book last week. Definitely a very chilling read with some beautifully pensive prose and finely written dialogue. One of the most unpredictable novels I've ever read.

I'll remember this I was little at school and my teacher is reading out loud of front of my classmate and one of girl classmate is very frightening.

so I'll remember I saw this book at my local thrift store (Salvation Army) last year.

Looper... oh yes I'll remember the ribbon girl
