And Best Buy has it for $139.99 right now. Either way, as much as Amazon has been hyping this up, I would have expected them to make it look somewhat good with a few really great deals. Nothing yet.

Thanks. Maybe BB will not have those 50% HBO deals anymore. I got on the wait list and may still get it since it's only $9 more than 50% off.

I guess this was a sham to sucker some people into signing up for Amazon Prime. I would be irate if I had joined Prime merely to participate.

This shit is getting shady. Amazon just threw up some more Electronics as a "Deal of the Day", including this LG 32" TV for $199. Warning - it's 720p.

So they got Sony to put a bunch of titles in the sale?

It should be no surprise that the deals are weak; Black Friday and Cyber Monday have been bad the last few years also. The few good deals are so limited in quantity that they're gone in roughly three seconds.

That would work for my wife (she's very non-discriminating) but I fully expect far better prices in the same/similar product come BF this year. I can wait.

Wadjda (Two Disc Combo: Blu-ray / DVD) $10.49
Tyson [Blu-ray] $7.49
Sugar [Blu-ray] $4.99
Doctor Who: The Complete Sixth Series (Blu-ray) $43.99
Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series [Blu-ray] $43.49
Pompeii Blu-ray 3D + Blu_ray + digital HD Ultra violet. $12.99

Those are supposed to be deals for Doctor Who S5 & S6? I remember buying those from Best Best for $20 a long time ago...

Again, when I've bought my last few Doctor Who season sets from Best Buy for $19.99...

Re: July 15 Amazon Prime Day

The only deal I found was 35% off grocery item so I bought a 24 pack of fiji water. The rest of the "deals" are just crap.

Amazon hasn't gone that low for the past couple of seasons, but they've been down to $19.99 for series 5 and $29.99 for series 6 and 7...and those were normal prices on the site, not requiring Prime or getting in on a lightning deal either. This is shameful.

Re: July 15 Amazon Prime Day

I bought the Tyson documentary for $7.50, well worth it for me at that price. I haven't even been tempted on anything else but an Archer bluray set is coming up so we'll see what they want for that.

Go for it, it may be the best deal you'll see today.

So this is weird, unless I missed it on my laptop. There was a 32" Seiki 720p for $75 that sold out in about a minute. I only saw it on my Amazon App, but I never saw it come up on the regular site.

Maybe you'll get lucky, but the description says DVD, not Blu-ray.

Saw it on my computer screen but when I clicked on it it was gone and the wait list was full.

Re: July 15 Amazon Prime Day

I just got on the waitlist for Revolution seasons 1 and 2 for $25, and I'm #6 so my chances are good. But I think I'm going to let it expire if it opens up. I heard mixed things about the series, and I think I may even own a season digitally--I was just excited to see something I was mildly interested in.

ABC mentioned 32 inch LED TV $75. No brand mentioned.
Bose Headphones at lowest price ever at Amazon but no price mentioned.

Walmart $174 off IPAD Mini 2.
Over $250 off Toshiba Lap Top.
Again no actual sale price mentioned.
This 174 off an ipad mini 2 is using some old retail price or something; I think it's at 265, when a new ipad mini 2 is just 299.

Man from UNCLE for $59.97. First good price I've seen.
