Re: Target deals

^^ does Googling the item with "Target" still work?, I think that's how we used do it but I don't buy much stuff, these days.

Like most modern search engines, the results are always geared for returning profitable items for the store. I know Amazon has paid placement in their worthless search engine.

Some kind souls have broken down certain categories in spreadsheets. Over on the Omnibus collectors Reddit, somebody did a Google spreadsheet for every large hardcover item in the sale.

Yeah, I've found that if you do a Google search for something like "Target.com Van Halen vinyl," it'll not only find it more efficiently than the Target app, it'll also display the listing that the Target app will hide, and in the listing there's an option to have it alert you when sold out items come back in stock.

Re: Target deals

Be sure to check your Circle deals.
I had spend $90 to get a $10 circle reward. Some had better offers.

Mine is Spend $120 for a $15 circle reward - and I didn't see it until after I'd placed a *possibly* qualifying order (it consisted of only B2G1 items which, if I read the terms correctly, do not qualify for that spend level deal).

That seems to be the case; my $150 B2G1F order didn't trigger the $10/$90 Circle deal for me.

Target makes the goals progressively tougher the more you qualify for prior deals.

Re: Target deals

Yeah, it is a kind of trap.
For the November B2G1, I spent $207.67 and $173.08, plus I received a $10 GC. I also saved an extra 5% with red card.
The Target sale is one of my favorites. I need to check out their BF ad and see if there are any must-have deals.

I have in my cart all 4k for around $41

Re: Target deals

Thanks for the heads-up on sale starting tomorrow Adam! I might bite on being able to pick up both Kill Bill 4K discs for just under $50 total. Cheapest price I've seen, so far.

Those were early digital finishes, so the general look is pretty well baked-in, unfortunately. There’s no conformed negative to scan. (Admittedly, I haven’t watched my copies yet, so I can’t speak firsthand.)

Re: Target deals

I went ahead and used this deal to pre-order the UHDs of Timecop and Daylight for about $24 each, about what I was willing to pay, so might as well pull the trigger

Re: Target deals

I ordered the 4k editions of The Brutalist and Babygirl. I actually had those in my cart on the a24 website. Glad I held off and was able to get a better deal on them here. I upgraded my Back to the Future trilogy to set to 4k for my third.

Re: Target deals

Looking for a third movie after Mufasa and Deep Blue Sea at $45 each. For some reason Moana 2 doesn't qualify for the promotion, would be nice to get these movies for a reasonable $30 price.

Went ahead and added in Long Kiss Goodnight at $37.49 (not maximizing the deal, but wanted that movie). While going through my Target Circle deals, I found that I had a 15% off entire order deal that I applied, so I added in three more movies, although I'm second guessing Wicked, saw that in the theaters and feel like it would be a good showcase for my Atmos theater setup, but could have gone with something like Outlaw Josey Wales or Seven instead.
