While it covers many titles which may or may not turn out to be great deals, it doesn't cover everything. Not 1 title in my saved list is available at this discount.

Re: Target deals

Some accounts also have a Circle offer of 10% off a single order (online or in store - expires 7/13) that stacks with the 20% off select movies offer. It's not quite as good as the B2G1 price but close.

Re: Target deals

Not worth it for me. My local Target barely has 1 shelf of BDs and DVDs.

Re: Target deals

If you find any of the Disney/Fox Target 4K exclusives that are currently on clearance, they should be 20% off also. I just picked up Free Guy Target exc. 4K for $8.74 after 20% off.

They are also clearancing out various vinyl records. I picked up a few today while I was in there. Not sure if only the exclusives are whats being marked down, but everything I bought today was a Target exclusive.

Foo Fighters Medicine At Midnight - $6.59
AC/DC PWR UP w/ free T-shirt $11.99
Eminem Curtain Call The Hits- $7.49
Jimmy Hendrix Winterland - $5.39

Wow, awesome deals. I would definitely grab The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent for that price.

If it's not out of the way, you can check to see if your local Target has the exclusive scanning at that price.

Many of the titles listed on other boards have been scanning as clearance but as always YMMV.

So far what has been reported as being on clearance:

BLUE = BD
BLACK = UHD

31 (Target Exclusive Steelbook) ($5.XX)
Cruela (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($8.XX)
Dirty Dancing (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($5.XX)
Encanto (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($10.XX)
Eternals (Target Exclusive Packaging) (?)
Free Guy (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($10.XX)
Frozen 2 (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($10.XX)
The Hunger Games Films (New Slipcover Release) ($2.XX)
Jungle Cruise (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($8.XX)
Kings Man (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($11.XX)
Luca (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($8.XX)
Moonfall (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($6.XX)
Toy Story 4 (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($10.XX)
Turning Red (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($10.XX)
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (Target Exclusive Slipcover) ($7.XX)
West Side Story (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($10.XX)
Wonder (Target Exclusive Packaging) ($8.XX)

Re: Target deals

And if you go, make sure to really look around. I went to a few different Target stores in my area. All of them had an endcap that was a little way from the movie section with clearance items. Where that endcap is exactly varied from store to store. One was toward end of the video game area, another had it more in toys. Of course, what the store has on that endcap will also greatly vary. There are some good records on clearance as well.

I was able to find the following when Target Circle still had its 20% off movies deal: West Side Story, The King's Man, Jungle Cruise, and Free Guy. I spotted Unbearable Weight but would prefer the 4k of that, and I've also spotted Moonfall, Toy Story 4, Frozen 2 and the Hunger Games but not interested in those.

Re: Target deals

Those are all excellent prices, and yet we have Disney+ and I don't think I need the discs. But what will happen down the road? I have to admit, this is truly one of those "streaming vs. physical media" moments for me and it's pretty strong.

Re: Target deals

I found the four Hunger Games films in those shiny new slipcovers at my Target the other day, they were marked down to 2.99 each and then I got off 20% more so they ended up at 2.39. Even better than the local used prices!

Definitely need to look for Cruella, that was a lot of fun to my surprise.

Re: Target deals

No movies at all in my Target’s clearance section. I preferred my store overall before they remodeled as they seem to have less of many things than they used to.

Re: Target deals

Every Target seems to handle their clearance items differently. Some throw them all in one location, some spread them out, some seem to use little rhyme or reason putting them out.

Re: Target deals

Target's got some Blu's on sale for $9.99. The prices still seem good today.

Morbius
The Bob's Burgers Movie
Moonfall
Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Uncharted
Green Lantern: Beware My Power
The Batman
Minions: The Rise of Gru
Lightyear
Venom: Let There be Carnage
($10.99)

All of these feel like the could be Black Friday titles, but I doubt they'd be that much cheaper. They've got a handful of 4K titles on sale for under $20, too.

$12.75 for RD seems like a good deal. Shame that it's currently out-of-stock, so you can't order it.

Since it's a Lionsgate title, I assume it'll get much cheaper in the years to come?

Re: Target deals

B2G1 is on. The 4Ks for Thor: Love and Thunder and Lightyear are still on sale for 15 and included in the B2G1.

Re: Target deals

Fairly mediocre this time thanks to so many items being excluded.

Re: Target deals

Guess it depends on just what you want... I've purchased 25 or so titles (movies, TV shows, and music) - things that've been on "wish lists" for months/years and always got pushed back because the sale included board games and I put the money there instead. With *no* board games included this time, all the money's gone to media. More than a few were things on sale elsewhere, Target PMd the other price, and *still* included them in the B2G1 - made those super bargains.

Re: Target deals

Thor: Love & Thunder 4K is currently $8.61, and still part of the B2G1 sale also. Buy 3 and they're $5.74 each. Use 'em as stocking stuffers at that price.

Edit: I also noticed Lightyear 4K is $8.61 currently.

Re: Target deals

Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness 4K is also pretty heavily discounted to $12.29 (not quite as low as the $10 price before), and also part of B2G1.

Amazon is matching Dr. Strange, and Lightyear.

Looks like I will be returning Thor: Love & Thunder 4K to Amazon. Since I'm sure they don't price match their own high price I paid on 11/09/22..

Re: Target deals

Target has a Circle offer for 10% off gift cards today and tomorrow. Works especially well with a non-Red Card that you get cash back on (my Chase Freedom Flex currently has 5% back on PayPal, meaning the gift cards come out to 14.5% off)
