Also still waiting for a good price drop on Ford v Ferrari 4k.
Already seen it, so no rush to buy.

What some people may plan to do is buy three sets of the FT13 box, selling off the other two sets. I've thought about it but shipping isn't cheap these days.

Don't assume the fine print is truthful. Depsite that being part of the ads during these sales, many (and during some sales most) have been allowed, but no way to know until it starts

Re: Target deals

Ad says excludes new releases and pre orders.
But that is not always the case with these Target deals. Just going have to wait and see.

And thanks for the suggestions .I'm kind of glad I have not worked on my wl, as I would probably spend more $$$.
Really going to try and just buy what I plan to keep and re watch.. yeah right Jj ;)

Not a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings Motion Picture Trilogy or I might be interested.

All my pre-orders went through OK.

That included Shout/Scream Factory, and Kino.

I just got my RedCard balance down under $10. Was hoping to keep it that way for a while, but these sales are my kryptonite. Had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket too.

Or add 3 of them to your cart order, and then immediately cancel 2 of them. The remaining item should still be 33% off. Always worked for me.

Target often hides links to OOS items though some them are searchable via Google. After a while the links just go away completely
Appears dex types faster than I can

I misspoke. I misread the post and thought the sale was live yesterday.

Live now and so far all the preorders I've looked at appear to be eligible including the new Hobbit and LOTR 4k Trilogies.

Yeah, ended up getting those in the sale.

Some random items are not eligible like:

District 9 4K
V for Vendetta 4K

Went ahead and made an additional order for:

Collateral 4K
Possessor 4K
Mallrats Arrow Video BD

New Mutants isn’t part of the sale either. I’m thinking about waiting a couple of days before pulling the trigger on anything, just in case there’s something more compelling as part of all those Prime Day-style sales on Tuesday.

Re: Target deals

I'll post the rest of my orders latter when I have time.
Kind of sad ,but some members from SD and blu-ray.com are abusing this sale. Not surprised about some of SD peeps.
But they are ordering 3 item to get the deal and canceling 2 of the items. :( So buy 3 cancel 2 :thmbsdwn:
Hope Target fixes this, oh and Target website is for shit when searching for items.

And just a heads up Targets BF is starting 11/1/20 and running most of the month. More to come...

Thanks added Possessor 4K to me WL.

Cinema Paradiso (4K/UHD)(2020) is also not eligible and few more I'll post latter.

Queen: Days of Our Lives (Blu-ray)

While The City Sleeps (Blu-ray)

Total Recall (4K/UHD)(2020)

Midway (4K/UHD)

Daybreakers (4K/UHD)
The Secret Life of Pets 2 (4K/UHD)

Total $61.xx

Has Amazon matched the sale yet? Sometimes the same item is way cheaper at Amazon, only reason
I would order from them during this sale.

.

Good way to kill the goose...

I've ended up cancelling some items in an order, and Target themselves have on more than one occasion, but it's never been with prior intent to do that. Usually it's only if I find the item significantly cheaper elsewhere afterwards. I also try to return the whole order and not just the one item.

I really don't want to see these sales bite the dust because of abuse, as they've easily become as significant for broad purchasing as the DDD sales used to be back in their heyday.

The down side, -when I placed my orders they were a mix of in stock and pre-orders and now I get an e-mail that all my in-stock items are showing up today, -in six different packages.

It was either last year BF or the year prior. I'd got off a ton of orders, mixing books and movies, in the first 24 hrs of the sale.
Four days later there is a mountain of packages in the driveway. Almost every single item was shipped separately, and nothing was in a box Just loose pile of about 15-20 mailers of various sizes.

Kind of embarrassing, actually. I blame stuff like that for the high turnover in mailmen on my route.

Two of my orders arrived today. The rest of my 4K's were pre-orders. I did make a book purchase today and 2 of them shipped and the other is a pre-order which will arrive next week. UPS dropped them off, though.

Seeing your order made me add "Possessor" to one of my orders, which I was going to place this morning. However, it suddenly struck me that there's "Possessor" and then there's "Possessor Uncut" which are apparently two different items, and it looks like Target isn't carrying "Uncut".

There's some confusion that's been created, perhaps purposely. The theatrical film is being marketed (in this area, anyway) as "Possessor: Uncut" and the director says there's an edited version for some markets. The blu-ray seems to marketed as "Possessor" and the 4K as "Possessor: Uncut". There's no cover art shown yet for "Possessor", though the "Possessor: Uncut " listing shows a version of the poster. Target says they'll ship the 4K but they don't list it as "Possessor: Uncut", just "Possessor" (though it says "Unrated") and with no cover art. I may roll the dice, and it might be fine, and ,then again, Target might cancel it eventually. No harm, really, since it's easy to return.
