Yeah, you can buy all of the movies individually for cheap, but the Tarantino XX set also includes two discs worth of bonus content that's only available in the set.

I traded in 5 titles, then bought:
I got Willow, with slipcover (7.99), Silent Hill 2 3D (14.99), Coyote Ugly (4.99), and The Sitter (4.99)
I purposely only bought 4, hoping that I’d get my receipt back, unmarked, with the last coupon. Sure did!!! So now I can get 5 more! I turned my 5 into 9!

Even when the set was 1st released late last year the release week price was $69.99, which was still on the high side.

I can't come up with 5 titles. It's really too bad we can't get credited to our online Best Buy RZ accounts, and then just apply the U&S credits to qualifying titles online. I would be so thankful.

That's why I hate this set and the Marvel Phase One suitcase: It punishes the fans who have dutifully purchased each release as they came out (or waited for a sale), rewarding those who came late to the party and thus get to pick up all the movies AND the extra stuff real fans would want to see, leaving the fans with the choice of double-dipping everything to get the last bits or doing without. Pffft.

Order what you want online, return and rebuy with the coupon. Did it and just waiting for my order to do it again.

Trading in your DVD's before you look at the blus is a waste of time. Walk in with your DVD's (if you get hassled at all by the guy at the front door, he can put a sticker on them that shows they're yours), pick out your blu's, walk to customer service, and do the exchange and purchase in one transaction. That way you don't have to wait in line twice, and you don't trade in anything that you you can't find a blu to replace it with.
Oh and props to DJariya for Police Story/Police Story 2, I wanted that one too as well, but couldn't find a copy. Hopefully that changes.

A similar thing happened to me the last time around. I found a copy of Criterion's Brazil Blu-ray marked at $27.99, even though the website listed it at $32.99 and that's how the computer scanned it. But I was still able to get it for the lower price as well as use the additional $5 U&S coupon.

Picked up:
Django BB exclusive $20
Hotel Transylvania 3D $15
Green Lantern 3D $10
Space Jam $5
Skyline $5
I don't know how they're handling it other BBs, but they only gave me one coupon and wrote "5 for" on it. What do you do if you don't do all five at once or want to go to another store? Or, do you just don't?

No Sandlot BDs in my area... except for one 15 miles in the opposite direction I normally go. The gas and time would be more than it's worth. If I have time next time I go I might attempt to see if they will Express Lane Sandlot with U&S and take the $2.50 mfg Q. Always YMMV.
I was going to get Hunt for Red October which used to be $8.99 and then $9.99 but I guess they raised the price to $12.99 so I passed. I also saw a large stack of Willow BDs and no slipcovers. While I'm not a slipcover or steelbook fanatic like many others are, when something is newly released and they are supposed to come with slipcovers it does bother me that somebody removed virtually all of them at BB (in the warehouse I assume) for some reason.
I love how several things I found plenty of copies in the store (including Wild Pacific for $9.99 after U&S) show up as "not available in stores" online. Do they purposefully disable their store inventory checkers on a bunch of items? I used to pre-check stores for what I wanted to see if it was in stock, but now almost half of the items I check show not available in stores when in fact they are.
Also unfortunate is that 1 of the 2 nice people at my mean store said she is leaving. Apart from her and 1 other person, everyone else will strictly enforce and deny everything possible, i.e. only 5 U&S per day and if you want to return an U&S item you just lose your $5 discount whereas these 2 will let you apply it to another item as long as U&S is still active. Most BB employees in my area will deny simple stuff like that just because they can.

I don't get it. Don't you need one of those coupons per disc? Every time I've trade in DVDs, I've gotten one $5 coupon off per 1 dvd traded in. Nowhere on the coupon do I recall seeing it noted that you can use 1 coupon on up to 5 discs. I traded in two dvds and only used only 1 of the 2 coupons and I still have the receipt. Does this mean I can still use my 1 remaining coupon to buy 2 discounted discs.
And oh yeah, I also got Willow

In your case, if nothing was crossed off on your receipt, and I know you are from Milwaukee, write a 2 in the upper right corner of the remaining coupon, and circle it. Now you'll be able to get 2 discounted titles with that coupon/receipt, even though you used one already.

Re: Best Buy Upgrade & Save 4/21/13 - 5/11/13
Was it something rejected by the computer/register or a case of a clueless cashier offering their interpretation of "not valid with any other offer"?
The terms and conditions link off of bestbuy.com/upgradeandsave (which is where is says to go for details in the print ad) does not appear to have been updated. It still has "offer valid through 2/2/13."
I'd try again at a different store or with another cashier if you have time to go back.

It is not a manufacturer's coupon so they are not supposed to refund your $5 if you return it and are not supposed to apply it to another movie. Also it very clearly states limit of 5 per day. So basically, you don't like the fact that the CSRs at that store follow the rules set forth by Best Buy corporate regarding this promotion.

1st haul:
Arthur 1/2 - 4.99
Firefox / Heartbreak Ridge - 4.99
MI4 w/ movie cash - 4.99 (rings up as 12.99 - took me a good 10-15 minutes to get this straightened out. Not my normal BBY and they almost always are a problem).
I cleaned out a DT that I never frequent of .25 and .01 DVDs on my way to the store. The BBY above told me that they are not supposed to take DT DVDs anymore - even though a CSR did as the manager was telling me
. I hope this is not a new policy
This BBY usually has a good stock, but it does look like they cleaned the shelves, esp. in the Family section. I have an online order for a return/rebuy coming, but I don't see myself buying too much more.
