Make sure to watch past the first episode of Steins; Gate. The first episode is confusing because you don't really understand what is going on until later in the series.

Mine arrived today! And as (bad) luck would have it, I've got the flu, but if I can get out of bed tomorrow at least I have something new to watch.

Ha, I've watched the first half dozen episodes through Hulu and I'm still amiss to what's actually going on. ;) I want to like it, but not completely feeling it.

Lowest pricing on this Flicker Alley title - 'Too Late for Tears' at $18.49

https://www.amazon.com/Too-Late-for-.../dp/B01AXGCW9W

The last time another FA title went on sale ('Children of Divorce') at the same price, it didn't last long. At near full retail in the USA, Arrow's Region A/B release from across the pond is another option

EDIT: Speaking of 'Children of Divorce', its on sale currently at an even lower price of $17.49

It's one of those shows much better enjoyed when binged in large chunks. The parallel worlds stuff is confusing, but the likable characters keep it grounded until...something happens. I won't spoil it any further.

I'm gonna have to wait until this flu stops kicking my ass before I start Steins Gate. I want to be clear-headed.

Per Camel, lowest it ever was is $22.96 on Dec 3, 2013 and it only dipped near $24 a couple timmes in 2015. So yeah lowest in a long long time.

Did everyone else get their order cancelled due to them not getting them from supplier? They did give me a $5 coupon, but i'd rather have the film.

My Arrow Apartment order was cancelled with the $5 coupon also. I ordered November 13. I read elsewhere that some people, presumably who ordered even earlier, got a shipping notice. So I guess maybe demand has outstripped supply for this LE?

Arrow hasn't said it's sold out and virtually nobody has shipped orders or have current stock if reading here/bluray/HTF is indicative. I'd say yet another production line or Factory to retailer delivery issue instead of a sold out LE.

For those less willing to wait -- the Amazon UK order isn't much more than most current prices though aren't going to be as good as teh $20-something WM/Amazon mispricings.
Region A/B and I think a reversible cover for those who just can't tolerate the logos.

I think I'll just wait until the dust settles UNLESS ARROW puts out a Low Stock or close to sold out warning

From Arrow's site:

UK Rating: Unrated
Running Time: 119 mins

I ordered the first day it went up for pre-sale on Amazon. I can't imagine there are that many rabid Apartment fans out there. I got a notice to update my payment info over the weekend since I'd been issued a new card since the pre-order and I updated that within a few hours...but still got the cancellation notice this morning :( Arrow US is not making a good impression thus far (and until I hear otherwise, I feel this is more an Arrow issue than an Amazon issue). --Peter

I wonder if Arrow US may not have properly cleared rights for The Apartment, since this blu-ray is available domestically? https://www.amazon.com/Apartment-Jac...4401619&sr=1-2

The Flicker Alley BD of the restored silent version of "The Lost World" is 19.49 at Amazon, one day after hitting 23.49 (which was a low price for this disc).

After reading multiple other reviews ion bluray.com, it seems like most dual region Arrow releases (titles released both in the USA and UK) are at least Region A and Region B compatible (if not fully Region Free), despite product details on the Arrow Site specifying Region B for UK releases. So I stand corrected that this title is also a Region A/B release

Thanks! I'd ordered at the $23.49 price but hadn't yet checked my cart to see if it'd dropped again. It makes me wonder who they're price matching...

I'm looking for that confirmation though I could be confusing teh threads on Ronin and Fish Called Wanda which were all goin on simultaneously. I would still strongly suspect this will be A+B, but I'm a bit less sure now.

Although no one has updated the Region coding tab in bluray.com for the UK release of 'The Apartment', been following the thread in that forum for the US release, where many have chipped in confirming the UK release to be Region A compatible. So you were right

Thanks for posting this! I was disappointed this wasn't included in B&N's 40% off sale so this will do nicely.

I know FA are never in the online sale, but did you check the ship to home option at BN? I'm not sure this studio was even eligible for that. It seems in past years either discount wasn't good enough or they weren't eligible at all.

No I didn't check because I don't have a BN that close to me so I only ever stop at one if I happen to need to do something else near one.
