I dunno. The main reason I'd get it like I said is because I own the other seven. Truthfully I'm probably not in a hurry to rewatch the series and have considered dumping my other sets but I'd get so little for them it isn't really worth it.

Cat People received a terrible transfer by all accounts.

What service did you select for shipping? My "Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down!" Criterion BD just shipped today and it was ordered on 8/19 via No Rush shipping option, which gave me the $1 amazon video credit.

I'm not a fan of no rush shipping.

Prime. It shows a 'ships in 9-12 days' on the product page. I don't recall that being there when I ordered.

Ah. Yeah, it may have been there when you did order. I also ordered A Time To Kill when it was $3.50 via PRIME and that's also to arrive tomorrow or the next day. I know that one had the 9-12 day thing on it.

The BBC Earth titles are Gold Box today, they look like some of the lowest prices and about half what the were recently selling for.
http://www.amazon.com/movies-tv-dvd-...d_p=1725241762

Planet Earth (4 disk Attenborough) 17.49 BD/16.99 DVD
Life 22.49 BD/21.99 DVD
and 4 other tiles, all 50-80% off RRP.

I see that there's also a 6 disk BD SE of Planet Earth current 54$ that apparently includes extras the original (this discounted) BD doesn't. I'm not sure if that's worth the extra 30 bucks. It sounds great but I also personally haven't been digging too deep into extras recently.

Alice In Wonderland (Two-Disc 60th Anniversary Blu-ray/DVD Combo)(Disney) is $13.89, the cheapest it's ever been. Make sure you pick Amazon, as it's backordered now.

Looks like a deal but I see this on Africa and Frozen Planet:

Region 40860 encoding. (This DVD will not play on most DVD players sold in the US or Canada [Region 1]. This item requires a region specific or multi-region DVD player and compatible TV. More about DVD formats)
WTF? There is no region 40860 AFAIK. Why would Amazon make such a statement?

Amazon's internal info database has been messed up on technical details for many, many releases. This has led to weird nonsense as you listed.

Fuck! I can only play this in Las Animas, Mexico. No wonder it was a good deal.

Amazon has matched Target on CA and Homeland S3.

I wonder what the chances are foxconnect will have Homeland S3 on sale of $20 or less sometime soon.

CAPTAIN AMERICA WINTER SOLDIER 3D is now $19.99.

SPIDER-MAN 2 3D is also $19.99 (not sure if that's recent, though).

Homeland seasons have remained stubbornly high since release.

http://www.amazon.com/CSI-Crime-Scen...=B001S86J3K&m=

The Blu-Ray for CSI: season 1 is currently $14.35

It's the only way to see season 1 episodes in HD and 16:9. The DVD release is 4:3. The only other season released on BD was season 9, Petersen's last season.

There is an extended cut of the Pilot with commentary and a documentary on the creation of the show. It's a worthy release to get if you're a fan and $14.35 is a bargain. I bought it for around $35 4 years ago.

Interesting. I bought CSI seasons 1 and 2 on DVD in 2004. I don't even know if I've opened up my set or if I've watched it. And I haven't been following the CSI series. Yet for some reason I have interest in buying this set. What to do, what to do :)
