I'd be in for IJ, but I'll probably end up snubbed on the deal.

Shit! Now I'm upset that I didn't wait for the Indiana Jones set. Both Firefly and Peanuts collection will be mine.

If it's that price will be all over the Indy set for sure.

The note specifically states "Other approved releases of note", the most important word here being OTHER. I believe the note in regards to the 24th is about titles that are above this. It could be about the Bond prices that are going to be happening.

Is that a confirmed leak? The fact it says (2011) has me being skeptical of the authenticity.

That is how Amazon describes the title of the item on their product page, despite being released in 2012.

Here's a link from blu-ray.com via twitter that pertains to the Bond 50 Gold Box DOTD price:

Damn good price on Indy, Peanuts, and Bond....

Jeez, this is a tough decision. I guess I'll just wait and see if I'm even able to snatch any of them.

Ahh I kinda want Bond for that price! But I'm not sure if I'd be buying it for the nostalgia or if I actually would enjoy all of them =/

Unfortunately I got IJ from DVDempire, and Bond from CH. So I'm stuck with em... At least Bond fulfilled my account... But I could have had Hitchcock for the same price. Now I wish I had bought that instead...

This seems like a purposely done leak by Amazon marketing to limit some of the negative discussion around various forums. There are widespread complaints that Amazon is simply pricematching other retailers and not coming up with deals of their own.

Yeah, I seriously doubt Amazon cares about "limiting" negative discussion by a minority of users bitching and moaning on a couple of forums about Blu-Rays--a product that I'm betting accounts for a small percentage of Amazon's total overall sales.

Already have Bond and Indy, but may have to cave on Peanuts if I can get it. These are some seriously low prices.

+1, although I'd like to think I'm doing more than just "bitching and moaning" lol

PhantomStranger,

If ALL Amazon does is match the prices of B&Ms so I don't have to

- Use up gas - endure traffic
- pay sales tax
- avoid crowd hassles
- waste my time hoping some item might be there

I'll be in that large group of customers that will be pretty happy with them.
