My heart skipped a beat when I checked my cart and saw this:

Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures [Blu-ray] has decreased from $49.99 to $49.94

I didn't think DOTD could sell out. "Gold Box Deal of the Day (All Day)"

Well, I still haven't bought the Hitchcock set but purchased the Marilyn set. 7 movies that I wanted for $27, it's a great deal.

FYI: The Forever Marilyn set has been $25 at Costco for weeks.

Not really interested in the Marilyn set.

Might bite on Indy, if/when it happens, but I'm pretty frustrated with the Bond BS, so I dunno.

I don't see the All Day labeling anywhere. Where is that? If you click on the comments link in the deal of the day box, you'll see they mention the number of hours left in the day, but state that they could run out of product prior to the end of the day. They then encourage you to buy before they're all gone.

I've seen plenty of DOTDs sell out over the years. It is all day in the sense that it isn't bounded inward from 12 AM - 11:59 PM, whereas the lightning deals are. Unfortunately, Amazon only has a certain number that they can sell at the DOTD price.

when did that Sherlock Holmes set jump in price from $34.99 to $56.99 ? lame...

I'm still holding out hope for it being the lower price. Third party vendors have been selling this set new for ~$40 for weeks. Seems reasonable for Amazon to slightly undercut that for a lightening sale. I know I'm passing if the sale is the higher price.

That sucks. It's cheaper than that from Warehouse Deals.

Not happy that Sherlock Holmes wasn't the original advertised price. That sucks.

Live at $56.99 for the Sherlock Holmes set, pretty weak. Oh well, I'm happy that I got in on the Bond set for $99.99 :D

That really sucks. I'm tempted to order it and see if a CSR will adjust the price back down to what it was before. There's no way I'm paying 56.99 for this. What pisses me off most is one reason I didn't order Bond 50 is I was saving my credit for this and I didn't want to spend any more real money.

Well, that's what I did too, thinking it must be a mistake. If not, I'm canceling it asap. Talk about deceptive advertising!

Yeah, this price is BS--I was waiting all week to buy this one. I'm live-chatting a CSR right now to complain.

I'm visiting family and have had limited computer access, but planned to make time to order the Sherlock Holmes set.... very annoying.

Interesting Sherlock went from 25% claimed tp 23% claimed but its been less than 10 minutes and will probably sell out at the higher price.
