At first glance, these interest me:

* The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Third Season - $9.99 (DVD, boo)
* The Adventures of Tintin (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy) - $8.99
* The Prisoner: The Complete Series [Blu-ray] - $22.99
* Steve Martin: The Television Stuff - $15.49
* Brave (Three-Disc Collector's Edition: Blu-ray / DVD) - $8.99
* True Blood: The Complete Fourth SeasonTrue Blood: The Complete Fourth Season - $9.99
* The Last of the Mohicans: Director's Definitive Cut [Blu-ray] - $3.99

Not a lot I'm super excited about. Hope they match Beast Buy's deals.

Same here, for the most part. There are a couple that I might grab if I'm around when they go live, but nothing life or death.

Interested in seeing what the price on the Bond set will be.

Yes, I am curious about that also, although I don't want it (although I've seen them all over the years, there are only a handful of Bond titles that interest me).

I'll definitely buy the Basil Rathbone/Nigel Bruce set for $35.

Same here.

Another one on the radar for me is Get a Life - The Complete Series.

Meh. It's usually the price-matches and all-day deals that hit my wallet anyway, though there are a few things I'll keep an eye on next week.

Nothing for me. Wow that is a first. No Mad Men is a disappointment. Curiously in the past they revealed the prices one day in advance. This year we know the prices upfront. I hope there are surprises. I think the deals this week with the Godfather and Lord of the Rings Trilogies were better.

If the complete Farscape is Blu and a good price I might finally upgrade.

From the picture and the lack of a Blu-ray tag, my guess is that it is just the DVD set. Otherwise I might finally upgrade also.

Unfortunately the link for Farscape is currently not working.

I am guessing the Bond set will be $130 down from $150. So many of the items are already deeply discounted that the difference on Black Friday is no big deal. For example Ken Burn's Baseball is currently $39.33 and will be $30.99. Really too much old stuff. Nothing worth waking up for or watching the clock tick down for the deal to become live so that you can get the item before it sells out. The Beatles Box set for $100 from a few years ago comes to mind. Lawrence of Arabia Big Box for $30 would have been nice.

Yeah, I noticed that. Was just hoping since it looked like a full day deal that they would do something for both versions.

$17.49 for John Carter? C'mon! Everyone thinks it sucked (it didn't) so they should be blowing them out. $10.

Ellery Queen, Steve Martin and the Het a Life sets are a very nice price

This is the highlight for me too. 14 restored films. Some of these are really fun, like Terror By Night.

I'm in for It Takes a Thief, Skyrim and probably Baseball. I'm hoping justified s3 and SOA s4 get added.

Mad Men Season 4 will be $9.99 (along with the rest of the seasons) at Best Buy. It's already been confirmed in the Best Buy thread.

Definitely in for Act of Valor, Fight Club (they're matching Wal-Mart), and Hunger Games.

All three are on my wish-list, two as Christmas gifts for my son, and were pretty much the only reason why I was contemplating venturing to WM on BF.

They were talking about S5, which came out a few weeks ago. S4 came out 3/2011 and was 9.99 last BF...

I hope to grab Brave and maybe The Lorax for the kids. I'm most interested to see what price the Indy collection will be as we'll as Homeland. both are listed as being on sale in the opening paragraph.

I suspect Amazon will price match alot of the Walmart and Best Buy deals...if this is it then I'd be incredibly disappointed. Only one that I might get is Act of Valor blu.

2 must buys (1 is a great deal, the other good, but I really want it) and a couple that I will probably get. This is really weak. I'm sure I will spend my usual quota of big bucks this BF, but the ads are not really compelling.

The Jeremy Brett Sherlock series price right now is about 15 bucks lower than the supposed sale price. I wonder what the story is there. I've been wanting to check it out as someone tipped me that it was a good version and Brett made a good Holmes.

Are there similar pages for electronics or video games or anything? Not seeing a whole lot dvd/blu-related that is interesting me.
