Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

Even if they are a buck, i seen some and they are like b movie or worst lol. so now i more selective and recent seen extras and they decent and watch anytime but others are or were just blah lol. i hope i can find what is shared on utube any, but not every store get the same stock or others score what u wanna try get at anytime. so i just think and be ready only get if cast is familiar or like who in it at time. and if no extras just hope has a decent cast any.

Word around the 'net is that there's a new batch of DVDs and Blu-rays at the Dollar Tree. I'm not advocating that anyone go out looking; I'm just passing along information.

Not worth dying for. IMO, their grocery section is so small that in Quarantine/lockdown states like mine they shouldn't be allowed to be open at all (I feel the same way about Big Lots). But oh well, thanks for sharing, I'll be missing this batch!

I'd say probably half of my store is essentials (food, cleaning supplies, cooking supplies, personal health supplies). Not to mention the prices make it that some people probably only shop there.
I would agree with you on Big Lots though.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

I can see how it debatable seeing how some or not many got any new last time cause had so much left over from box from past sales any. all i can do is hope and snag any needs if i see no new media this time around cause times have changed and not wanna waste a trip if no need to go since it like farther away then other places i can go to and pay tad more for stuff more worth getting sometimes. if not a lot traffic is out when i go then easier to snag and jet lol.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

It always nice when able to score a lot since some or many have gone streaming these days. i try score blu rays if combo with dvd by chance, but most time i try snag dvd of interest any. hard part is knowing what u already got so not have doubles any later by chance lol. i heard about the new stock recently so went and checkd by chance we got new stock this round since last time checkd as i read news of new stock the place i go to was skipped over since they had a lot from the last time they was sent any boxes. so i happy we was given some boxes to snag any good stuff and by chance get more later maybe, but have learn to wait till i read new stock and then go so not waste trip and same time grab any needs.

For those of you who picked-up "Driven", I'm just curious if it's the Sylvester Stallone version?

Didn't know this was OOP. There's a bunch of Warner, Universal and MGM dumps at DT currently, perhaps they found some in some warehouse 😊

I see a few people bought Stallone's "Get Carter" which is also rare.

Yes. As darkdaze 73 said it's the Seville canadian version. Single disc 2D/3D, French with English subtitles.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

Went to 2 Dollar Tree stores today locally in search of a copy of Gallows. Didn't find one

One store had more DVDs than BDs, good amount of Horror on DVD, though I had many of the titles.

The other store had 99% DVDs, not many Genre Films and a few copies of the of dreaded Pete's Christmas.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

My trips to Dollar Tree are fewer and farther between lately - mainly because it's a minimum 15 minute wait outside to get into the stores nowadays due to only 10 customers allowed inside at a time.
That said, I went today, and there was a new assortment. They were just stacked on the floor in the media aisle. As usual, more DVD than BluRay.
I saw and almost bought The Magnificent Seven (4 movie) Collection and the BBC double feature Copenhagen (Daniel Craig) + Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond, but ultimately passed because they were DVD. Also saw and passed on the Stargate Atlantis Fan's Choice BluRay.
Ultimately ended up only getting The Hollow Point (Patrick Wilson/ Ian McShane) on BluRay.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

May go back to mine see if got any new box out cause not sure if stores all or some just put out all box at once or just gradually add to the tech area since they had solar stuff outfront last i checkd any. i try score any blurays if combo with dvd and snag 1 since rest was just blu ray alone. 1 showed symbol of br and dvd on spine of case but had no detail of dvd on back any and it was like not a movie sen before or any cast i really wanted to see much. so anytime dt get new stock of media i tend to snag more dvd then br if br not got dvd any. and any tv show of interest any. i do not go to every store around , so i save money and spend all at one and always hope for new stock and stuff worth getting at time.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

Not really sure why some stores get a lot of media and others get close to some or none anytime. to bad they dont try send any extra box to other stores who got none if they know they just sit and not sell much. or even donate to any thrift places so they can charge more as if places are renting space lol. some or many are doing or have gone to streaming so media does not sell as much as before.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

Went looking for "Le Pee Wee" but no luck. Some have found an HD-DVD of space shuttle missions, one of the rarer titles, but that never came up for me either.
