My car was in the shop and I was late on Friday. But I did really well last time, so I guess it evens out. Picked up:

Both w/slips, and I have 2 of the others in the "Earth From Above" series, so it could have gone worse.

I went to a couple of Dollar Tree locations in Canada and picked a copy of "Visioneers" and "Soul Surfer". They only had a couple copies of each title.

Found a lone copy of the Roadie (I know it was reported previously but this was the first time I've seen it at 1 of my locations)...only Blu-ray and seven or eight dvds just sitting in the bottom of a shelf. Of course this is Katy and I'm just lucky they have my Lance lemon cookies in stock reguarly. Lord knows I had way too much time to look since my wife was going through the Easter stuff.

I just got back from my local Dollar Tree and they had the most discs that I've ever seen them have at one time. They had a good mix of DVDs and Blu-rays, with most of the DVDs from Warner and Paramount, and most of the Blu-rays from Fox and Magnolia.

I don't know if this makes any difference whatsoever (since the price is, after all, only $1), but I just opened my copy of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and found that it was the Walmart exclusive with the bonus CD soundtrack.

That's pretty much most of what's been dumped at Big Lots albeit at $3 and $5 pricing range. Where was this ? I just visited two DT's near me in SoCal and there was zilch in terms of media

seems to be a pattern. I got 'Moneyball' at Big Lots which was also the 3 disc Walmart Exclusive. Thanks for the info.

I found these at a store in northeast Mississippi.

I visited two DT's on Saturday and the "item of the week" is those waving, solar-powered flowers and scarecrows. Not a DVD or Blu-ray disk in sight. I suppose they roll out these specials to stores in waves?

It's the same here. Solar things on sale, and no movies anywhere in the store.

Maybe my store just jumped the gun on displaying them. There weren't any window signs highlighting them, nor were they on a display table. They were on the automotive aisle, where they usually end up if they're not in the front of the store.

Stopped by my local Dollar Trees on the way home. There are 2 on my way home today. 1 of them had a lot of new DVDs and a few copies of Shark Night on Blu Ray. The other had nothing in the way of DVDs or blu rays.

I was 0 for 2 today. I didn't see any DVDs at either location.

Visited 6 SoCal stores around me today - 5 had nada in media and only one had a bunch of DVD's and BR's in the Hardware section:

and I saw 800 copies of Shark Night and most of the titles that rbrown498 posted. It looked like they were just making it to the floor today as I opened one 30 count box and two others were just opened and sitting in the floor by the solar whatevers... There were a lot of DVDs mixed in with the Blus.

Stopped at my closest 2 stores. 1 lady said they get 'em from time to time, but they don't have any now. She wasn't real convincing that she knew what she was talking about.

A lady at the 2nd store responded immediately that they'd be out on Friday.

I went to 3 Southern California stores. Only the one at Hawthorne & Lomita in Torrance had anything. For Blu-ray's in the Electronics section there were:

I decided to swing by the store again--the one that had the display set up. I wondered if more might have appeared. And sure enough, while lots of BDs were gone, there were a couple of new titles from yesterday:

Blackthorn & Main Street

Picked them both up, despite less than stellar reviews for the latter of the 2. Figure I'll use the case if I don't end up liking it.

Also had a reason to go 30 minutes away from home, so I stopped by a location there. The front table had 6 DVDs on it. Must have been wiped out.

Tomorrow, I'll check the location that indicated they'd be out Friday morning. Hope they didn't jump the gun.

Mine didn't have them out today. Going to try tomorrow.
