Picked up Assasins for $5 today.

Had a couple of problems with the Best Buy Inventory checker again where they show that a disc is in store only for me to go there and find nothing on the shelf and the CSR goes in the back and finds nothing there as well.

I know about the grain removal problem with the Predator Ultimate Hunter Edition, but I really want to add Predator to my collection. Should I just buy the DVD and have my Blu-Ray player upconvert it, or even with the grain removal problem would you recommend I get the Predator Ultimate Hunter Blu-Ray over the DVD?

I'd just get the used DVD, then use it as an upgrade in the future, hopefully when a better edition comes out.

Went to Dollar Tree tonight to pickup some more 25 cent DVD's to trade-in, but the thin cased titles were now 50 cents! I hope it is just this particular Dollar Tree. I rarely go to this one... I realize I would only be overpaying 2 bucks for 8 DVD's to trade in, but it's the principal. Perhaps they suddenly became hot sellers so they jacked up the price?

Trade and save coupons expire Aug 11th right? I wonder if Total Recall will go back up to 9.99 next sunday the 5th? That will give you till Sat to pick it up for 5 bucks.

If you care about lossless audio, better picture quality, and extra features the answer would be a resounding HELL YES.

I highly recommend the 1st blu ray edition. It looks beautiful on my LCD WITH the film grain and the sound is top notch.

From your picture and looking online, the Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows BD on sale for $12.99 is the single BD edition? The BD + DVD + digital copy edition is still far more expensive in-store, right?

On an unrelated note (but related to BB), does BB.com pricematch other retailers like Fry's if you call them up? Unfortunately Singin' in the Rain BD is nowhere to be found at any B&M store in my area (BB, Target, and Walmart) except Fry's and I'm trying to avoid driving to Fry's.

Best Buy has been doing pretty good with this sale, until now. I found a cashier who said that you could only use one coupon per transaction. She checked with a manager and he said that was correct. I told her to keep the Blu Rays and I would go to another store. I had done several transactions at this store using one coupon per blu ray, so it was kinda frustrating. I'm sure I will go back and it will be back to normal unless they changed the policy today. I could have argued it but didn't have the time today.

I upgraded Firefly while it was still on sale. Not really sure I needed the upgrade, but for $15, I couldn't really say "no".
