Took me forever just to add 4 titles to my cart. I want more, but I'm trying to check out with these first, since I want them the most...

Not much better though... It's still like pulling teeth. But at least I can do it from work!

Re: Best Buy Black Friday ad

pretty rough. tried calling and even the phone kept disconnecting. Finally on my 3rd try online I was able to squeak out an order for Pulp Fiction, Mimic and The Crow for $15 and change.

Whew. took like an hour.

I can't believe their site is crashing this hard on the Monday of Black Friday week. Unbelievable in 2011. Finally just got an order in for Clear and Present Danger and Patriot Games BD's. $8 and change for the 2 of them shipped (credit to that'sallfolks in the other thread).

The funny thing is, I ordered those titles 3 hours ago morning before I realized the BF prices were up. I had no issues placing that order. Now that I'm trying to order the stuff I really really want, I'm having trouble...

Re: Best Buy Black Friday ad

Funny. I totally gave up and closed everything down. Then I went to work and checked BestBuy.com. It worked very nicely and I was able to place all of my orders without any problems. That doesn't mean that they'll send them all but I can hope.

So it was total garbage and boom suddenly it's working fine. I don't know if they forgot to turn on additional servers or hired someone else to supply them or if so many people gave up that it just worked out. The only 1 I didn't get that I wanted was Polar Express 3D BD.

I went into the store and purchased it on my lunch hour. It was still $29.99, but I'll go back Friday morning and get an adjustment.

Will try to get a price adjustment on HP 7.1 3d tomorrow since it is already at the BF price online.

Finally bought a 3d tv set this weekend after getting in on the LG/Xbox 360 deal. Not the set I wanted, but it will tide me over until I can afford the set I want.

Re: Best Buy Black Friday ad

darkdaze73, by the LG/Xbox 360 deal I assume you mean the LG47LW5600 or 55LW5600 at Amazon or Newegg? What's wrong with that TV that you consider it one to tide you over? I got it and I like it. The only problem I'm finding (and I haven't adjusted it yet) is some lag or actually anti-lag. The amplifier supports delaying the sound, but it needs to go the other way. The sound is already ever so slightly late coming from the amplifier, and the amplifier only supports delaying the audio rather than the amplifier or TV supporting delaying the picture. I'm the only 1 in the family who can notice it. But I don't know if this is a problem with the TV since I can't even listen to HDMI DTS HD Master through the TV.

I'm at a loss what to do with the Harry Potter movies. I'd REALLY like them in 3D, but that means buying each of them separately and not the Ultimate Editions. I don't feel like getting any of them now, including the 3D versions, because it will likely lead me to double dips again.

Re: Best Buy Black Friday ad

There is a $200 HDTV and $40 BD player on the front of the ad that I would love to get. But, I'm not a camper nor will I waste my time doing it.

So if I'm not doing a camp out Wednesday night and wasting my entire Thanksgiving day standing in front of the store, I'm probably shit out of luck coming there say 8 or 9pm?

The Best Buy FAQ doesn't do a great job of explaining "doorbusters." Can someone with more experience explain what this means?

Thanks.
