Good news, Amazon posted on it's Facebook page that they'll have hundreds more movies and TV shows on sale next week, they mention the blu LOTR set and Jurassic Park Trilogy. So no worries.

Any chance of a sale on the Star Wars Complete Saga Blu-ray set? That's what I'm really hoping to score for a good deal.

How was it $21.74 in your quick picks? It's only 5% off so it should have been around $23.75.

One of my favorite sets (SD-DVD) of the year. Considering I didn't pay for the SD set (review copy), I didn't hesitate to upgrade to BD for that amazing price.

Actually, LOTR and JP are listed in the first paragraph of the deals page, saying they'll be on sale all week. So, there is no need to camp out at your PC or on your smart phone chasing a lightning deal for them.

I'm actually happy that most of the lightning deals arent of real interest to me. I dont have to chase much of anything, other than Source Code.

I had actually never heard of the director or the films - they're supposed to be gritty, sleazy Eurocrime flicks. Not masterpieces, but probably a solid value for the price.

A saving of over or close to $10 I can deal with that (if I did not own them already). The books are not worth that much to me. Now lets see season 3 down to $26

I would jump on it... until I read it's not the extended version so I'd still have to keep my DVD. While it's a great movie, I'll wait for it to go cheaper or them to release an extended/theatrical BD as they should've originally.

Yes. Braveheart / Gladiator (Two-Pack) $13.99, is each two disc Sapphire release, individually shrink wrapped but without security seals or devices. The two cases are then shrink wrapped together and covered with a slip cover.

Even if you only want one of the two, it is a good deal because the other one can be sold as new and unopened. $7 each for those releases is a good deal IMHO.

Since I've been patiently waiting for the remastered Gladiator to get to $10 or less, I purchased this double pack and have put the unopened copy of Braveheart up for sale at half.com.

This is the real fun of the deals week. At best I only go for a couple of lightning deals. Some of the most impressive stuff is discounts that are not lightning deals, but that you find just by browsing around the site. Pulp Fiction at $3.99 is the only LD that's jumping out at me right now.

I don't know about anyone else, but what I've done for years is keep lots of Wish Lists. A couple with things that I really do want, but several others with hundreds of items that I'll only buy if they're 50% off, 70% off, etc. I've found it much easier to just scan through those and quickly pick out the best deals.

Wow, The Crow for $4.99 and Pulp Fiction for $3.99 on Monday, I am excited already.
