Incredible price on the Godfather set. I have the UK version, which I paid in the 30's for a year or two ago and thought that was a good deal. It's rare to see this set as cheap as this.

In case there are newcomers to the thread (I've seen them miss out on these good deals before): as Andalusia'a post infers, this price is good today (2/21) only. If you want this item at this price, order it today. The price will be gone tomorrow.

Even if you are among those who don't love the third film (or have never seen it), $25 is a great price for two masterpieces and a very generous amount of extras.

It doesn't look available anymore, but there was a two pack with the first two movies that went on sale for under $13 at Fry's last fall. But this is still a good deal for the three movies.

Thanks for the Godfather warning. I was very close to purchasing the much bulkier UK set.

It's still available, you just have to look at the other sellers and choose Amazon. Doesn't ship for 7 to 10 days though. I'm in for one, as I still have the original single DVD releases of the first two movies.

Yeah, I'm considering replacing my old HD-DVD. It's one of the few I have left.

$25 is the best price, but it appears to be $31 at DD and $35 at BN, so not as drastic a discount as it seemed, or if it sells out at amazon.
