Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
The BL near me got the $3 blu's today. I picked up The Sessions on the prior recommendation of Helen Hunt sans clothing. Just started it. My Oppo will play it, but I've never seen so many java copy guards in my life. It took over 2 minutes to get to the film after inserting the disc.
The only other blu possibly worth mentioning was a film that looked interesting, but that I've never heard of, "A Late Quartet"; a drama about classical music.

It's a fine ensemble drama about the four members of a string quartet. A Late Quartet is a quiet, serious piece on adult friendships. Recommended for the turns by Christopher Walken and Philip Seymour Hoffman, or if you have an interest in the world of chamber music.

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
Received a random $5 off $15 coupon in my e-mail. Excited to get it, but my closest store hasn't had anything of interest in some time. Stopped in today and surprised to see they had some $3 BDs. Most of these, if not all, have already been mentioned:
Iceman
The Jone$es (I bought this as a blind buy, even though I blind bought the DVD at Dollar Tree previously)
Lake Placid 2
Meet Dave
Meet the Spartans (saw this priced at $3 and another copy at $5)
The Rebound
Return to Nim's Island
S. Darko
The Secret Life of Bees
Special ID
Stargate: Continuum
Street Kings 2
Tooth Fairy 2
The Tree of Life
Won't Back Down

The one store I visited only had DVD copies of this assortment. I highly recommend Two Lovers if you can find it.

I will say there were probably 2 copies of each of those titles at the store I visited. Not sure if there might have been more when they were put out or not.

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
Stopped by a couple of locations and they had a fresh batch of the same MGM-Fox and Sony titles others have seen before—$3 and $5. I picked up a few:
Amelia
S.W.A.T.
Midnight Cowboy
Anger Management
Bad Teacher
Brothers McMullen
Wall Street
Wall Street II
Donnie Brasco
Dylan Dog
Deception
Great Expectations
Identity
Henry's Crime
The Ides of March
Miller's Crossing
Man On Fire
Chain Reaction
Rising Sun
The Sessions
La Femme Nikita
Tree of Life
This Means War
The Wrestler
and finally, the most guilty pleasure in my collection, the Anna Faris/Chris Evans romantic comedy, "What's your number?" I like both stars as well as the supporting players which include Chris Pratt, Andy Samberg, Joel McHale and Zach Quinto. It's really not as wretched as the reviews would have you believe. It's no more inane than sitting through a few episodes of "Friends."
