Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

While I'm thinking about it (as it's a B&N BD deal), when the Star Wars 1-6 BD set is released on Sep. 27, could people please post here when they receive their preorders in the mail? I preordered mine back when they had the 50% off coupon earlier this year, and they didn't take my email address (and I haven't felt like calling yet to check my order status). So, I'm just hoping mine will arrive around the same time other people post that theirs arrive. I have no idea if B&N ships early so they normally arrive on release date (like Amazon does) or if they don't ship until after release date.

It actually will be out on Friday the 16th. My experience with B&N on new releases is that they ship them on the day they come out.

Only because I think the poster would have indicated it in his thread, incorporating some sort of race angle in his already feigned homosexual flirting.

Thanks. Since they didn't take my email address and I won't receive any confirmation my Star Wars BD set preorder has shipped, it sounds like if I don't receive mine by the following Wednesday (9/21), I should give them a call.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

For those of you who use UPromise to get cash back on purchases, this Friday (Sept 16th) the cashback rate for B&N will be raised to 10%. One day special.

Just sayin'.

It was a one-day sale on Monday, looks like it reverted back. Sorry.

Missed this. Darn. I woulda bought X-Men FC. Coincidentally, I went to a B&N on Monday and bought Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D for $17 (with $8 coupon and sale price). Oh well. I'm in no hurry for X-men. Black Friday week will probably have an Amazon deal...

Save 30% if you have a B&N membership and Mastercard with online code N4K3U8K. Coupon valid through the weekend. Also today is the last day for the blu-ray sale.

That was 19.96 at my Walmart today. YMMV with Walmart of course.

If you can find a printable coupon for that, you'll be my best friend! :P
hmmmm, what to use it on? So many choices! Thanks, Laser!

How did you get this price for the NBC 3D blu-ray and is it still available at that price?

It was in-store. With 40% off, 10% member disc, and $8 coupon. I also saved $1 cuz I used my B&N MC...

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

Just used the 30% off coupon to get Big Bang Theory S4 for $23, and will get 6% CB. Too bad it isnt multiple use... Fringe S3 was also tempting. I went to my local store tonight, hoping to use the $8 coupon on one of them, but neither were in-stock.

I did, actually. But I didn't see a printable one. I must have missed it. I'll look again...

EDIT: I missed it because it is under "future coupons currently not active." I wanted to use it tonight anyway, combined with the 40% off. I wonder what would happen if you tried to use it early. Would the system reject it? The online code was working this afternoon already, so perhaps the printable one would as well?

I currently have it at the bottom of the list since it's not supposed to be valid until tomorrow. Also the expiration date B&N used is incorrect. They have the coupon expiration date as September 19, 2010. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

It might scan since the online coupon is currently working.

I've used it three times so far online. Try logging out after placing an order. Then add something to your cart. Apply the coupon again and log back in to checkout. Don't worry if it says your order doesn't qualify. Once you log in all is good for another order.

Used this technique myself three times. Nice! (Picked up the Gantz blu-ray film adaptation for around $13. Hope it's good.)

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

Son of a gun. Looks like the 40% off ended early on the Vigo Criterion set. Was $23.99 yesterday; went to use the new 30% coupon and it's up over $30 today. I guess some items aren't even lasting through the day.

EDIT: I just noticed the post saying the sale ends 'today' was posted yesterday. Woops.

Got a few titles using the 30% coupon, including Swingers for $4.99 shipped. Thanks!
