Thanks! I'll post it over in the coupon thread. Only have a few hours today to use it since it says it expires around 6 PM.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

B&N has a lot of Disney Bluray combos for $19.99 right now. Snow White at that price is a great deal since it's back in the vault.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

You can also get the Tom and Jerry Golden Blu ray set for a great price. And with coupon I got the Scooby Doo movie double feature on BD for 5.99. I got Tom And Jerry set for 13.99 with coupon.

Snow White says special order 3-5 weeks. Doesn't sound too promising.

Was reading about the Disney vault titles on another forum...maybe blu-ray.com. People were ordering them and reporting cancellations coming in. So yeah, for those of you contemplating this, I wouldn't get too excited about it shipping.

Tom and Jerry is currently out of stock, so apparently you can't order it?

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

Kind of off topic, but I can't find the answer anywhere:

Has anyone who signed up for a 2-month free trial membership been able to cancel online? The confirmation e-mail I received instructs me to go to the "Member Profile" page to opt-out of renewal, but I don't see that option anywhere on the page.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

Click on "My Account" then "Account Settings". You'll see 4 areas of account information (5 if you have outstanding orders).

(Orders)
Account Settings
Personalize
Digital Management
Rental Management

The first one on the top will say "Account Settings". Look to the right then up and you'll see a graphic which says "Become A Member And Enjoy New Benefits". Click on the "Already A Member? Manage Your Membership" link on the lower part of it.

Also, if you have any orders outstanding, the graphic should be just to the right of your "Orders" box.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

The Tom and Jerry deal is good in store until Monday most likely if out of stock online. Check to see if your store has it. The childrens titles are on sale in store and this should be included through presidents day. The membership should get 10 percent more in store too.

I did all that, but I still don't see the option on the Member Profile page to cancel the membership. It just displays links to change my password, create a wish list, etc. Am I missing something?

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

No "Review Profile" here.

On the Account Settings page, there is a link in the Membership section that says "View and Update Your Member Profile". When I click on that link, it simply redirects back to the page I had just visited. It lists my membership expiration date as February 19th, 2013, but no mention of it being a free membership.

(Yes, I got the confirmation e-mail confirming it was a free trial. I didn't accidentally sign-up for a paid membership).

Sounds to me like your trial ended on the 18th, so automatically became a paid membership yesterday... You may be able to call and get the membership canceled and get a refund. I know they used to allow this, within 30 days of becoming a member. But that was before they offered free 2-month trials, so I'm not sure if that policy changed...

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

I think it ran out late Saturday or really early Sunday. I put an order in Saturday evening and it said it was getting shipped Sunday.

Every store near me was OOS as well. Oh well. I can't believe I didn't think of that title sooner. T&J were always my favorites (until they became friends)

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

Re: Snow White. I placed an order along with other Disney titles and they're all written as being shipped out on Thursday. From my experience B&N has been pretty accurate with those estimates in the past.

No, I only just signed up on Saturday when I placed an order for Fox & the Hound from the 50% off sale. They didn't even send the e-mail with my trial membership number until yesterday.

EDIT: Okay, the "Review Profile" page is now showing up and giving me the option to cancel the free membership. Don't know why it took that long to show up under my account settings, but there you go. Thanks for your help, DVD Polizei.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

I think they do allow you to cancel for a refund as long as you haven't used your membership in some way since you became a paying member.
