Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals
It's 40% off all blu rays in store as well. I'm looking at my reciept right now, and I ended up with the Coen collection for $26.89. First the 40%, then 10% membership, then $8/$40, then another $2.90 off from the $5/$50 (divided it amongst my other blu rays, $2.90 off on Coen, $1.05 off each Lost in Translation and Good Will Hunting)

Picked up Cul De Sac for $13.59 after the $8/40 coupon. Going to go back and see if I can get a few more today.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals
My experience:
Ahahaha, totally worked. The guy who rang me up was definitely gay. So I go in with all my coupons stashed away in my front pocket. Guy comes over and asks if I need help finding something. I said I was just looking for now. I made a mental note of where all the movies I wanted were placed. I grabbed The Killing and whipped out the $8 off $40 coupon before walking up to the register.
I found the guy and asked if he could tell me how much this would be with the coupon. He takes the movie and coupon. Upon looking at the coupon he says "I don't think this is going to work because it's not $40." I tell him to try scanning it anyways. System beeped saying it was not accepting the coupon. I told him to try manually keying it in. While he was doing that I said I would buy this movie if this coupon worked. After that he did something and I saw $14.44 come up as the total. I swiped my card so fast and told him I am going to buy some other stuff. I grabbed Wall Street and It Might Get Loud and told the dude I wanted to do separate transactions. I whipped out two 20% member coupons and the $3 manufacturer coupon for Wall Street. He had to call the manager and ask if they take manufacturer coupons. Apparently they do not, however I was still able to get him to use one 20% member coupon on each movie, fair enough. I told him, last movie, so I ran over to the front and grabbed If... I whipped out another $8 off $40 coupon and told him this is just like the first transaction.
He did it again! $14.44 came up and I swiped my card. I thanked him so much and he said "Enjoy them!" At this point I felt like I was dreaming. I contemplated buying a lottery ticket.
I walked out with a huge smile on my face.

That sounds pretty good. I got mine for $54 during the Mohicans combo promo, and thought that was a nice price. (Looking at my order summary, I also received a $9.51 refund, though I have no idea why - the .51 was refunded 18 days after my order shipped - so apparently my final price was $44.49.) The extras alone will keep you occupied for days. I don't really care for the sequels, but $46 for the whole enchilada is pretty sweet.

Go for it! I just got mine in the mail a couple days ago that I only paid $3 and some change after using the 50% coupon and a $25 gift card. Can't wait to watch it.

People seem to have all these completely valueless gift cards lying around with lots of money on them. They should send them all to me and I'll dispose of them. I won't even charge a fee.

Re: Barnes & Noble Blu-ray Deals
Does anyone anticipate a better deal than this on the Citizen Kane Blu? If this sale runs until 9/15, 38.99 + 15% off is enticing. Kane comes out on 9/13.
