I was able to use both coupons with my purchase this morning. The cashier applied the $5 Target coupon even though the system rejected it. She looked at the coupon, verified that Tron was a Disney move and was $24.99. I didn't have to say a thing. ~$29 OTD.

That always happens. The DMR coupon always works on the lesser packaging in spite of the coupon's wording. What would be interesting to know is if the DMR coupon also works on the original Tron. Anyone?

What is this double points offer? I assume if you enter the code you get twice as many points than normal? Is it today only or when does it end? Finally, is it for Tron only or also Tron Legacy? I must've missed the Disney email about it.

The double points is for today only, and for "Tron Legacy" only.

Personally, I'm sitting on a bunch of DMR codes in case they pull something like they did last year with the Sony blu-ray player promotion. Double points don't really matter to me.

Was able to use the $8 Discount, $5 Target Coupon, and $5 Tron: Legacy Coupon. Honestly, I'm surprised that their system took the Legacy Coupon; you'd think if they mention it in their add they'd make sure the computer enforced it.

Got both 2-discers using the $5 Legacy coupon, total for both after Red Card discount was $27.16, or $13.58 each...but I had to go to two Targets to get the Original 2-discer...first store was out of them by 10 a.m.; second store I went to just had 4 copies (both stores had lots of Legacy). And I'm not even jazzed all that much about the movies...it's just the dang deal!

Is there any way to get the DMR coupon w/o installing the Coupon Printer? I can't dl it here at work, but I'd like to priint it out to use on my lunch break.

Yeah I think the only had 5 original Tron 2-discers at mine and I was there at 8:30 AM. And this was one of the only Targets I saw where the Tangled Blu-Rays with the exclusive books lasted past the first day.

No there is absolutely no way of doing it without the coupon printer, anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong

Hmmm...I played it safe, and bought Tron Classic, Tron Legacy 2-disc, and Tron Legacy 4-disc. I got the $8 discount plus used the two $5 coupons. Next, I was going to return the 2-disc Legacy set and hope I get the full $19.99 for it...

I doubt it, but you should be able to tell by looking at your receipt. If they "packaged" it together with Tron Classic for the $8 discount, you'll clearly see it. If so, you will get a PRO-RATED amount back when you return it, so likely $15.99

EDIT: You may have actually screwed yourself by buying two versions of Legacy, depending on which one got packaged together with Classic. If the 4-disc got packaged with Classic, then you're set. But if the 2-disc was packaged, you're going to lose $4 that you could have saved on the 4-disc.

I wonder how that works for the 2-movie collection. Are there two separate points inserts in the package? Or one for the 2-movie collection? If one, would they double the entire thing?

The Toy Story 3 Movie box set had three separate points inserts.

One insert for 325 points. A couple posters on CAG have redeemed them giving them 650 for the 5 disker.

No need to hope. Target always refund the full amount and not the amount after the coupon. But if you didn't buy anything else along with the movies, it will show negative and may trigger the alert to the CS that he/she has to manually adjust it.

Get back to the subjest, I was able to use the $5 DMR and the $8 off at the Target. @9:30AM, there are only 4 Tron classic and 5 Tron 4 discs blu ray left. There are bunch of 2 discs in the shelf. It seems like the 3D is selling fast and so as the classic for the extra $8 off.

My Super Target had plenty on the shelf, at noon.

The $5 bunny munny coupon flashed up on the screen that it did not apply to any item, although I don't think the cashier saw it. It still took $5 off without any intervention.

Why are people not using the $5 Target Coupon when getting the 4-Disc Set or for those of you who got the 2-Disc Set, why wouldn't you just get the 4-Disc Set and use the $5 Coupon?
