Is everyone 100% sure that Tangled 3D BD is $24.99 at Target before applying any coupons and not that Target is actually $29.99 and factoring in the $5 DMR coupon to arrive at the $24.99 price? I haven't found any Target ad scans yet.

This has been discussed before, and the only way I know would be to use another DMR account (and you might have to use another computer too), or to call/email Disney and beg for a coupon which you probably wouldn't receive in time via snail mail.

I guess I'll keep my Amazon order for $21.99 release day delivery for free.

Target DOES come with the Golden Tangled Kids book though. Essentially, I would get them for the same price after taxes if I went the TARGET route.

@wormraper. You could always sell the 3D bluray, dvd AND digital copy on ebay or something. that's what I do. After profits and the coupons, it pays for it self two times over.

I didn't even know it was a musical going in thanks to Disney's head-fake marketing, but I enjoyed the songs. They weren't the most memorable part of the movie but I definitely didn't think they were terrible. They had the familiar Menken feel from Little Shop of Horrors on through his Disney movies and compared pretty favorably to his past work, although they were clearly a generation or two removed. I liked the bar song and also the duets between Rapunzel and her mom. And Mandy Moore definitely has some good pipes.

Definitely need to use another computer. Tried in the past to just make another account but it still wouldn't let me. Hell I even changed my IP and used a new account, still did it. Different computer is the best bet. Coupon plugin probably remembers what you print out.

Saw the ad in the early Sunday edition ... it is definitely $24.99 BEFORE the coupon.

Thanks, but I got the Best Buy ones to print, which I hear are the same things once you cut off the "Best Buy" parts of them.

I just saw the ad too. I guess @ $24.99 for the 3D version with a free booklet, even if you can only use the $5 off DMR coupon that beats Amazon's $21.99 even with tax. If I can also use the $5 Target scanned coupon, it's even better. Given the $24.99 price in Target's ad, the likelihood of Amazon matching that is greatly increased opening up the possibility that I may regret canceling my Amazon order (which would become $16.99), but I have to go on what's "certain" and not on a "maybe". I'll be interested to see if Amazon matches the price before they ship or waits a couple days so they don't have to adjust existing preorders (which would prompt a flood of calls and emails for price adjustments which they will probably give to most people).

Amazon has dropped their price on it to $24.99, my order hasn't been adjusted yet though.

My order hadn't gone to the "Shipping Soon" phase yet, so I did a quick online chat. She reduced the price down to $24.99, keeping the $8 discount intact.

I got the 10 deal with BatB a while ago, i figure for 5 ill get the 3d just in case since i dont even have a 3d tv yet lol

Amazon did it so quickly because I canceled my order. If I hadn't, they probably wouldn't have matched Target. If I can use both coupons at Target to get it for $14.99, then I will. If Target won't accept both, I'll try to get Amazon to reinstate my order with the $8 promo which the rep I called about canceling said she'd put a note in my account to do if I called in.

they will refund you 5 bucks in the next few days, Its just annoying to not be charged the lower price before it actually ships.
if you want just give them a call about it and the refund will probably come a day or so sooner for you .

A quick chat session with an Amazon CSR got my $5 refunded quickly.

Well, my writer has been on strike for a long time. Maybe if you called up Jerry Seinfeld you could ask him to write some new material for me? Of course I don't actually believe that I control these things, but Murphy's Law works for me most of the time such that no matter what I decide, I should usually do the opposite. So people say, why don't you just do the opposite of what you were going to do? I have to explain to them it's not the opposite of what I'm GOING to do, but the opposite of what I ACTUALLY do that matters.

Anyway, I'm hoping it works out at Target.

Everyone here is all worked up about a DISNEY movie.... 1 minute on Amazon months ago and i'll have it in my hands in a few days. And now Amazon has dropped the price without me having to plead my case to their CS department or planning an overnight sleepover in front of Target/Best Buy hoping my 22 coupons work.

Mine shipped today without the price reduction being reflected. I had their system call me. Asked a CS in India to honor their Pre-Order Price Guarantee Poilcy. She put me on hold for five minutes and then she told me she'd "make an exception to the policy and refund me the difference". I was livid and asked "How is this an exception to the policy? It's verbatim what the policy guaranties". Anyway, I took the refund but hate having to beg for what is clearly spelled out in their own listing on the item page as we speak.

There may be a surprise for you in store. Wait a couple of days and the price may still adjust automatically after all; i.e., you might get 2x $5 back after all is said and done.

They can just adjust the item price, which makes it the intended price. A monetary discount is different, though. I got the item price adjusted when I e-mailed, but it had not shipped.

They also gave me the line about the adjustment to 24.99 being an exception to policy. They are really trying to convey a hard-ass demeanor.
