Good idea...I didn't take a screenshot, but my "We've received your order!" email clearly states the price, so if they try any funny business w/charging my card a higher price, it won't fly. And for the sake of it, I just took a screenshot of my Order Page entry.

Most blu's are $19.97 with this sale. That's about the same as the semi-annual B&N sale.

Although, again, pre-order Blu-rays are $15.98 if you don't use Firefox. At least for now. Criterion may, as noted, cancel those orders.

Re: Facebook: Criterion to release 50% off code on Facebook

Good enough for me! Got 4 titles total, including 3 preorders (Great Dictator, Mikado, Diabolique) and Cronos. The only downside is they won't ship until May 24th:

I was right about the gift certificate deal. They keep track of what you buy over time. If you reach 500 you get a free 50 dollar certificate. I need 272 dollars more.

How are you getting it at $15.98?

Re: Facebook: Criterion to release 50% off code on Facebook

The only thing I did was add some pre-orders and accept the "ship all at once" option. Before I did that my Cronos came up as $19.97 (or whatever). Afterward it was $15.98.

I can find plenty of titles I'm interested in but I shouldn't drop $60 on movies at one time right now. Oh well. B&N sale isn't too far away.

Fuck me, Amadeus! I was all set to pull the trigger on Blow Out, Pale Flower, Diabolique and Le Cercle Rouge and now it's dead.

Me too....had Cercle Rouge, Blow Out, and 400 Blows in my cart, and they'd only apply the discount on 400. A true example of "you snooze, you lose".

I added one movie, than entered the code. Then add another movie, then add the code again. Worked for me. Not sure if that would work for everyone.

I never got it to do anything like that. I'm using Safari on a Mac, so that could be why.
