20mins on hold and the lady gave me 250 points. Better than nothing.
Thanks!

lmao. Perhaps, u could bypass the slap by calling the 800# or emailing that lemmy stand? U could get ten limes as a bonus reward. I got 10 rzone pts today, so this is hilarious but yes, there is a store forum. I forget sometimes, 2.

Re: $10 Gift Cert. From BB Reward Zone- Merry Christmas.

I e-mailed and nicely asked for a certificate of any amount they saw fit. Got a reply that they gave me 500 points ($10 certificate). If they had refused I certainly wasn't going to persue it, but I'm glad they didn't :-) Merry X-Mas!!

Re: $10 Gift Cert. From BB Reward Zone- Merry Christmas.

I called Rewards Zone today. First time they hung up on me after and 1/2 an hour. Second time after 15 minutes I spoke to a guy from customer service who sounded like Sam Elliott. He couldn't have been nicer. I told him that I heard from quite a few people that a $20 gift certificate was sent out for Christmas to all Rewards Zone members. He checked my account and told me that they went out on the 17th and he was sorry I didn't get mine.He told me that I would receive mine in 3-5 business days. I was hoping to use it on The Pacific but as long as it get it all I'll be happy.

Finally got around to calling but the girl didn't even let me finish my sentence and she said she'd take care of it. She confirmed the account information and said the certificate would be in within 7 - 10 days. Sounded like a long time but she seemed competent enough.

I called and will be getting a $10 certificate applied to my account in "7-10 days". Good enough for me.

Re: $10 Gift Cert. From BB Reward Zone- Merry Christmas.

I called and will be getting a $10 certificate in 10-12 biz days, but it was a lot of work...

After navigating the menus and waiting for a rep for 15 minutes, I was told the offer was only for RZ customers who purchased something before April and those who received an e-mail. I didn't receive an e-mail, and I only became a reward member on Black Friday when I spent $600 that day. When I told the lady this, she put me on hold, then came back and said she was authorized to give me $10. A few seconds later, the line went dead.

I called back, navigated the menus again and waited another 15 minutes for a rep. JoAnne told me the offer was only for RZ members who purchased something on or before November 7th and who got an e-mail. She told me my purchase on Black Friday didn't count. I said that's awfully petty of BB. She put me on hold, then came back and said she could give me $10. This time the line didn't go dead.

It took a long time, but I was at work so I didn't mind taking the time to get this $10 certificate.

Just used my $20 Certificate online for The Complete Metropolis on Blu-ray. After tax I ended up paying $3.20. Thanks Best Buy!

When you use the certificate codes on the site, can you enter more than one?

I have only used 1 at a time, but I believe you can enter many.. it is a long matrix of codes and amounts on the enter page.

Re: $10 Gift Cert. From BB Reward Zone- Merry Christmas.

I also sent an e-mail and was told I didn't qualify. They gave me specific provisions for why I did not qualify. Basically, if I had not purchased anything before April 2010 - I would get $20. If my last purchase was between April and November 2010 than I would get $10. Of course, I have not bought anything from them for around a year until after these certificates were first sent. Then I did make a purchase. This most recent purchase apparently made me ineligible, despite under the terms of the promotion I should have been sent out a certificate prior to this recent purchase. Brilliant! Another disappointing encounter with Best Buy (the last incident was during the Snow White Disney coupon, which is why I try not to shop there)

Re: $10 Gift Cert. From BB Reward Zone- Merry Christmas.

Got my email response today...
"I do apologize that you did not get a holiday certificate. That is a promotion that our corporate office did do, the reward zone members were selected randomly, to either receive a 10.00 or 20.00 certificate, and some received none. I did add 500.00 customer satisfaction points to your reward zone account for you. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for this adjustment to reflect in your reward zone account."

I was told the same thing via phone today. Only difference is I did not get anything, just an apology. I guess no more Best Buy for me. I'll just price match their ads going forward.

For you guys being told you don't qualify, just try again. Call them. If one person tells you no, call again. Eventually you'll get a CSR who will do it. Best Buy is notorious for getting different answers from every person you talk to.

Yeah, I suspect that's a way to go. But it's more effort than I wish to expend (particularly if one has to wait on hold forever) for a store I've had repeated bad experiences with. Others may find it worth it, and that's their choice. I'd rather just not bother anymore. I was willing to at least make a try, but that's it.

I believe I read on TMZ that Sam Elliott is indeed working for Best Buy Customer Service during the holidays. He wanted one of those cool blue shirts.

Re: $10 Gift Cert. From BB Reward Zone- Merry Christmas.

Anyone know if you can use two different certificates for two different accounts during online check out? My mom has one expiring soon and I don't want it to go to waste. I might as well use it with mine to get Band of Brothers!
