I'm starting to think this way as well... Also, as someone who has seen Splice, I'm not sure how many multiple viewings it will get... Worth watching once for sure, but dunno about after that...

.....I don't know why..but I bought this for $29.99 when it came out last year. On Amazon. WTF was wrong w/ me. I literally checked it in my account there to see what I bought it for. I must have had a shit ton of cash to spend cuz that's the only way I could even remotely believe that I did that.

I'm guessing that you figured $15 each wasn't bad for a BD. A year ago, I'd probably agree. But prices have dropped so much in the last year, and Amazon's BF prices were just insane, that I now aim for $10 or less, except for maybe Digibooks, Steelbooks, and titles with bonus discs.

I can't bring myself to buy it because I already have the first movie. I don't want to pay that much for just the 2nd movie...

Me too. Especially in light of the dvd2blu and CH deals. Been upgrading my collection (at 45 titles now) for around $6 a disc. "Splurged" for the $24.99 Planet Earth set on Amazon, and even that was sticker shock in relation to what I've been paying otherwise.

I'm tempted to go for that Austin Powers deal, as $17.99 hits my catalog sweet spot of $6 per disc.

I just don't know how often I'd watch them, though.

Yes, it went up and then down again, as is so common at Amazon. That's why I have it marked as an "Old Low".

I pre-ordered Blow Out and it shipped yesterday at $26.99. Now on release date they drop it. If they don't adjust my price soon, I'm emailing them.

They most likely will within 24-48 hours. This happened to me a few weeks ago when a price dropped on release day; I had the difference refunded on Wednesday.

Wondering if they are going to drop this to the $17.99 price

I dunno, I bought it third party (fufilled by Amazon) for $25 about a month ago and I consider myself somewhat lucky at that price. For some reason, that one seems to stay out of direct specific sales. Of course, I say that and a week later it's $18 .

Yeah, I got an email at 8:30 this morning. They refunded me the $8.00 difference and .68 cents for the tax.

On a wim I emailed asking them if would be the price of most of the rest of them $17,99. I got a email back about 2 hours later saying. Order it, go to this link and say I bought it. I did and they given me a refund fo $11.50. So all in all I got it for $18 ship.

Major kudos all around for that. Rare to see a store do that for a customer, but really cool beans.
