Near Dark has a lousy transfer, so I'm trying to decide if it's worth the $6.99 for an "upgrade".

Just placed a second order for Hamlet and JFK digibooks.

This pretty much clears out my digibook want list save for The Man Who Would Be King, King Kong, and Mutiny on the Bounty. I'm waiting for sub-$20 pricing on the latter two, but I'll break that rule for The Man Who Would Be King. Must have that movie day one.

I went ahead and pre-ordered Solaris for $26.99 - I can't wait on that one to come down.

I grabbed 300 DB.. have been look for some time.. figure < $20 is worth a grab...

By the end of the week, I'll be deciding on 300, Poltergeist, and the Batman Anthology.

Does the Batman Anthology have any new features that aren't on the DVD set?

not that I know of....but for that price and the films in HD plus all the features?...yeah...totally worth it.

Just FYI, when amazon had a couple of digibooks (Color Purple, Exorcist, and Se7en) for $18.99 a few weeks ago, I don't think the prices held all week. They started climbing again within a couple of days. No guarantee that will happen this time, of course...we all know trying to guess amazon price drops is like playing the stock market. Knowing my luck, the prices will probably drop some more tomorrow since I just ordered five titles lol. But just a heads up.

Of course that Batman set will hold through Saturday.
